Thursday nights....is VoodDoo Lounge at Rio good?...or someplace better?

Coming to Vegas May 30th for a bachelor party and trying to put together a good itinerary.

The group I am with aren't too gung ho about a nightclub (i.e. deafening loud music; tons of sweaty, stupid 21yr old boys all hitting on the 3 hot chicks in the bar; etc). I have been to Voodoo in the past for a stag, did bottle service and had an awesome time.

Does anyone know if it is good/lively/has hot girls on a thursday night??

If not, is there a bar similar to voodoo that is good on a thursday?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I did MIX on a Thursday during my last trip...it was a good time.
It wasn't packed by any means...but the crowd was decent...and some people were dancing. They have hookahs now too.

I think you'd have a better chance at a quality crowd at MIX or GhostBar rather than Voodoo.

I haven't been in the Lounge at Tao on a Thursday night....but that may be a good option for you. Anyone have experience?
Even an outside table at Tryst on a Thursday night may work for you.
Hyde is a Lounge on Thursday and has live music now.

I've been to Voodoo, MIX and GhostBar and would have to say I agree with Chuck. If you're looking for a lounge with a view and a decent crowd, MIX and GhostBar would be better bets. The crowd at Voodoo is significantly below those places, and I would think even moreso on a Thursday. The view is probably a bit better from MIX, too (GhostBar worst view of the 3, IMO).

But I would still like to hear about anyone's experience at Tao on a thursday.

Thursdays at Tao are packed due to it being industry night. If you're looking for a low key night it's not the right spot. Great party though.

haze at Aria is a good option on thursday because they have 2 floors and while the downstairs is crowded and loud, the upstairs (Mezz) is not and you can oversee the mayhem below.
