Does a 1 bottle minimum even exist on a Friday? A lot of my group might be arriving a little late on Friday, looking for a not so expensive place just to meet up, but still has a fun vibe.

5 people in my group. I know it's border line for 1 bottle. Maybe put one person on a guest list. Then bring them to the table? It's 2 guys and 3 girls.

You can put the girls on guestlist and they can meet you inside. You will be fine with one bottle. I personally have not been to 1oak yet, but a lot of people say its really cool on fridays. 2 guys, 3 girls should be do-able. If anything, the 3 girls can just guestlist in.
I have gotten 1 bottle minimum with 4 guys at Tao on a Friday night before through Chris (in April). Again, table location wasn't spectacular. Just those ones right by the walk in/entrance way.Next trip: ???Comment
