I don't think Rob Kardashian would affect the crowd in any way, he's a non-factor to most, 1OAK is always a good time IMO.

He'll have a prime table and girls will be lined up to take pictures with him. There will probably be a big group Happy Birthday sing-a-long (could just tell your wife it's for her!). Other than that you shouldn't even notice he's there.

Possible change of plans.... So it's now down to four people, two couples for my wife's birthday that are 100% committed. Others in the group have semi flaked and have gone to "not sure" status. Me and my wife will be coming from the Maroon5 concert to Hyde on Saturday as it stands now,and meeting the other couple there. That means I'm counting on the concert being done around 11 to get over to Hyde. Anthony said 11 was ok if we hi tailed it over there.
I'm stressed about getting to Hyde. I don't want to have to rush and I know hosts don't really like people showing up for tables at midnight.
So...should I reschedule with Anthony to do Hyde on Friday night and then wait to see what time the concert gets done on Saturday and try to call an audible by contacting a host for a late night minimum some where? If so what's a good place that I could contact a host at midnight and get a 1 bottle min for 2 guys and 2 girls?

Thanks for the advice, but I caved and just now rescheduled Hyde for Friday.
Now there's no stress of rushing. We can have a long dinner with friends before Hyde and stroll over. No rushing, less stress, and more fun!
Now I have no plans on Saturday after the concert. I was at,dare I say it because no one on here talks about it, The foundation room, one time for BS and it was dead, dead, dead. I posted here at midnight and was told to contact Joey Orr for Haze. It was a Sunday. Within 2 minutes he quoted a really low 1 bottle min. I might just wing it and if we feel like, contact a host after the concert and see what we get. Of course it was a Sunday. I know Saturday is a different story.
If I was to do that what would places are my best shot to make something happen that are board approved?

We are about the same age. We were in town last spring with 3 other couples. We did a table at Surrender on Friday night and had a great time.
On Saturday, we did a concert at Mandalay and then got a table at Foundation Room afterwards. We had a blast. I would bet that Foundation Room will be busy post concert. It was open format / Top 40. It didn't have the gogo dancers, light show and confetti that a tier 1 club has, but we had a great time.

Thanks timbuck2, I forgot that Foundation room is at Mandalay.
I still have Chad Elders contact. He was my guy there last time. He actually sent me a text about a month a go wishing me a happy new year. I've heard of good hosts doing things like that. Hopefully it doesn't mean Foundation is hurting and they need business.
I might consider contacting him after the concert. It would be a less expensive option after a big Friday night. I have to say though, I'm skeptical to go back and it be a slow night again.
Any body else been there recently?

Eye Candy is a nice bar in the middle of the casino floor at Mandalay Bay, I've been a couple times on a Sat night & they have a dj & it has always been a good time, so that may be another option for you guys if you wanna do something low key but fun.Last edited by ChiTownChik; 03-03-2013, 02:41 PM.

Last summer, I was quoted a 2k minimum at Hyde on a Saterday night. We were also 2 couples. Hope you got a better deal than me for next Friday. I thought it was steep for a tier 2 club. We ended up at Tryst. Please let us know how was Hyde when you guys are back !Originally posted by KEVINLJ74 View PostThanks for the advice, but I caved and just now rescheduled Hyde for Friday.
