I am traveling to Vegas in two weeks (14th-17th) with 7 girls and one guy (bachelorette party). It's looking like we will be going out on Friday and Saturday nights. What is our best bet to avoid waiting on lines? Contacting hosts the week of? Also, what two clubs would you suggest. Ages range from 23-29 and we prefer mostly top 40/hip hop (no huge fans of EDM). Thanks!

Put 1OAK on your list for either night...won't be too much EDM mixed in. Contact Joey Orr to see if he can help your group navigate the ropes.

Not sure on your exact dates, but WILL.I.AM and Lil Jon will be at XS and Surrender on March 3rd....shouldn't be as EDM-heavy as usual.

1OAK @ Mirage and Tao @ Venetian - whichever night you do which is up to you.

Contact (text) Joey Orr for 1OAK (586.873.4876 or [email protected]) and Chris Traer for Tao (702.510.5286) about 2 weeks beforehand.

EDIT: Tryst @ Wynn on Saturday could be an option as well.

      Where are you staying?

EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

If your talking about 3/15-16 I would recommend:
3/15 David Guetta at XS Las Vegas
        http://xs.wantickets.com/Events/1223...-XS-Las-Vegas/
        3/16 Calvin Harris Surrender
        http://surrender.wantickets.com/Even...Calvin-Harris/

If you recognize the names and like the music I would go. Both get a lot of top radio play and aren't like trance DJs.

Both shows will be super jammed you can try to get in free with a host might be hard each night or you can do presales and not hassle with it.

        also
3/16 T Pain will be at Haze

If they're not really fans of EDM, then I wouldn't suggest Guetta/Calvin @ XS/Surrender over 1OAK/Tao. While they both have songs that have cracked it into mainstream radio, they are mainly EDM. Especially Calvin who plays sets with some pretty banging electro and even dubstep mixed in.

            I said Calvin b/c of
            We found Love with Rihanna
Where have you been with Rihanna

also b/c XS and Surrender will be JAMMED.
+Calvin's last show at the Wynn
Hakkasan didn't give him 46 dates and 22 at Wet if he wasn't a draw

When I saw Calvin at Surrender the hosts kept local guestlist girls in line waiting for an hour and didn't let them in.
            and
Guetta at xs will be totally insane thats why I said if you recognize the names and like the music go

Fair enough - and yes, he does throw in the odd dubstep track - skrillex remix of cinema was one of his go to tracks; also dropped remixes of promises by nero. take a look at some past tracklists - main point being, he doesn't play cheesy sets just because he's now cracked mainstream radio

These guys play All EDM, not even Trap EDM. Skrillex/Diplo.. maybe play some stuff they will like, but these two won't. Everywhere will be packed that weekend, it's spring break and march madness. Every club, even the tier 2.5s will have crowds.
1Oak, Tryst, Bank, Haze, Hyde, Pure - will have open format, top 40, hip hop. Check the performer/DJ of each, there me be one club that stands out more for you.
