  • March 21st thru 24rd Tier 2 Clubs

They are three of us coming to Vegas from Thursday March 21st thru Sunday March 24 and wanted some advice on Tier 2 clubs, specifically on Friday March 22nd. With only three people we estimate that Tier 1 clubs will be out of our price range.

    1) What club would you suggest for Friday night? Preferably with EDM format?
    2) Which locations would you suggest inside your selected club?
    3) With only three people which club would you feel would offer a one bottle table minimum that evening?

    Thanks for any advice.

Almost all places will offer you a 1 bottle minimum on Friday, especially being tier 2.

I would have a look at Surrender @ Encore (which is actually Tier "1B"). Solid place, good crowd, usually EDM DJs.

EDIT: Zeds Dead is @ Surrender on that Friday; Hard Rock Sofa is @ XS; Chuckie @ Marquee. What's your budget? You might be surprised at what you can get at Tier 1

EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Thanks for the quick response Ocam. Our budget with gratutity, taxes and alcohol is around $1,000.

Mate, I'd say you'd be fine with 1k anywhere on Friday!

            E.g. XS/Marquee - $550 bottle + $45 tax + $110 auto grat + $75 host tip + $50 security + $20 busboy = $850

Given your minimum though, don't expect the best seat in the house.

I just joined the Forum and it seems to have a lot of good information and you seem to be the person very much in the know

I have been coming to Vegas for years and did the club thing, but never got into the clubbing scene until EDM arrived
I started to go to Rain and get bottle service and I got a bottle for two of us or sometimes (4) people for about $500, I'm not a big drinker so it was usually plenty. The host I used has since moved to Hakkasan, which I know will be out of control for the whole year it is open, just like XS was.
I come to Vegas every couple of months, but not to the clubs..I don't know enough people who would cough up for a table...mainly cheap bastards. I am planning on bringing my g/f's cousin for her 21st birthday in April or May. I really wanted to take her to XS, but I only want (1) bottle for (4) people. It would be myself and (3) females, in your opinion would that be possible? Especially in a Tier 1 club. The host I know who helped me out can get me into Pure etc, but I'm not into Top 40 or Hip Hop. I did have a Cabana at XS last April with a bunch of people, but a (3) bottle minimum would not work..lol. If you have any suggestions, it would be much appreciated.

Given your ratio of 1 male:3 females, you should be able to get away with 1 bottle (as long as it's not a holiday weekend). Don't expect the best table in the house though. What day of the week are you intending to go to XS?

Ryan Perrings is the guy to text for XS - will dig out his details...

Thanks Ocam..it's going to have to be Saturday and definitely not a holiday weekend. I just wanted to take her to a better club.

Just saw your dates - I would take a serious look at Light @ Mandalay Bay which will be open by the time you are there (opens April 26).

NoahRam from these forums can sort you out and has the most consistent positive feedback I've seen... EVER.

I think that would really be a good place to go - new, will be out to impress, will have a big crowd, and has big DJs on its books. I'm sure a number of her friends have had their birthdays at XS/Marquee, but she'd be one of the first to do it at Light !

Yep, I was replying to Will24 later in the thread (who isin LV in April/May), not the original poster (who is in LV March).

You might be able to swing an outside table at marquee or xs with your budget otherwise surrender.
