Bachelor Party May 10-12 // 8 Guys

Group of 8 guys (mid 20's) are staying at PH May 10-12 for a bachelor party. Im looking into prices and info for bottle service on Friday or Saturday night at a decent spot (doesnt have to be XS or anything). Will most likely drink cheaper vodka or bacardi. Do you think its better to try and get a larger table for all 8 of us? Or split it up into 2 groups of 4? Is there going to be a difference as far as bottle mins? Or table mins? Any ideas on what we would spend for the night?

I've been to Pure, Gallery, and Chateau before but never had BS. Loved Pure and Gallery and wasnt impressed by Chateau. I've heard good things about 1OAK...

Any help would be appreciated.

You'll have a 2 bottle minimum requirement at most if not all places. So plan on spending at least 1,000 - 1,300 at the bare minimum.

Get a bigger table. Your location will be better, since the bigger tables are in better positions (rather than the tables for 4 tucked away in the corner). Also, if you combine the host tip you would have paid for 2 separate tables, you should be able to swing a pretty sweet location and, maybe, even a lower overall minimum.

I'd say bottle prices will be around the $500 mark for Fri/Sat. Obviously depends on your budget, but for 8 guys, I'd guess:

$1200 min + 96 tax + 240 auto grat + 100 host tip + 50 security + 20 busboy = $1706 = ~$215 per person.

If you increase your host tip you might be able to push the min down (and therefore the tax and autograt too). If you can afford it, based on your group size, you might want to bump up the tip to security to $80-100 and $30 for the busboy.

1OAK gets a lot of good reviews on here, particularly if you like open format (which it sounds like you do given your past visits to pure/gallery/chateau).

Tier 1 places yeah probably but Tier 2 he should be able to get away with it. Really depends on how well they're selling that night.

The only concern I have is whether 2 bottles will be enough between 8 dudes on a bachelor party (your group plus any biddies that roll around)? You will probably end up ordering a third anyway, which pushes all those figures up (in which case you could have just gone anywhere).

Definitely work through Thomas. Similar to what Chuck referenced above - I had a group of 5 and Thomas hooked up a B1G1 with $200 tip. The 'Get 1' bottle was Skyy, I was pleased with my location and the fact that we really got a 1 bottle min essentially with 5 guys on a Friday night.
