Advice for my first time in Vegas

First of all I would like to say hi to everyone and thank you in advance for any help.

My friend and I are coming to Las Vegas on Thursday 3-14-13 and leaving Monday 3-18-13. I've never been before and he went once in September a couple years back. He said it was amazing and can't wait to get back. We are both in our mid 20's and have a pretty good budget to work with (around $7,000 each for the trip). We are definitely wanting the full Vegas experience as far as the pools and nightclubs go. We are staying in the HRH all suite tower in a supreme queen suite. I'm mainly looking for advice on where we should go both day and night. I've looked at event calendars and can't really commit to anywhere specific, as almost all of them seem equally amazing online, and of course each one says they are the best in Vegas. I'm going to be very blunt here and hope that no one takes any offense. As many single guys are, we are looking to pick up women. And who can blame us, with some of the most beautiful women from all over the world, I couldn't think of a better place. Also any advice on hosts that you guys have used would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of Music do you like?

I think its important to keep three things in mind about that weekend 3/15-17.
1. Ultra Music Festival in Miami is happening that weekend-basically 125,000 people+every DJ in the world
2. Beyond Wonderland in Southern CA is 3/16
and its a little early for pool parties in Vegas. Some are having soft openings in March
Encore Beach Club is opening 3/16 but officially on 4/6
Wet Republic says they are opening in March- no date
ReHab the big pool party at the HRH doesn't open until 4/21
Marquee has no date

Personally-considering your close to Miami- I would split your bankroll in half-go to Ultra in Miami 3/15-17 and come to Vegas on Memorial Day weekend- When every pool party will be open, the new clubs will be open, and vegas will be crazy busy.

Realize you could easily spend several thousand at one party so I would buy presale tickets to Guetta xs.wantickets.com so you get a feel for the experience before you make a table reservation. Also checkout picture on there facebook page.

Thanks a lot artdem. Lots of useful information! I had no idea those other events were going on. Guess I need to start doing my homework lol we have already bought out plane tickets and everything for that weekend so we are pretty set on vegas. Just a couple questions. Would I need to get the presale tickets if we planned on getting a table/bottle service? We're looking to do that every night. Also about the free limo ride/ entry to the strip club? Haven't heard of anything like that. But in my defense I've only been researching for the last day or so. Please forgive my ignorance lol

No need for pre-sale if you're getting a table...admission is included. Most strip clubs offer free limo rides / admission if you call in advance. You can find good info / contacts on in the Gentleman's Club thread.

Sounds like your bankroll will give you plenty of options. I believe Encore Beach Club opens Mar 16th so I'd put that on your list for Saturday.

For example there are three ways to get into XS
1. General admission/Pay at door/ Guest list- line- usually always bad
2. Presale tickets/a separate-line
3. Bottle service line

For a table plan around $500+ a bottle +20% tip +8% tax with probably a few bottle minimum spend depending table location.
That's why I said buy presales so you get a feel for the club atmosphere. Cost about $75 a person to get in.

You could be getting a table every night and a daybed at a pool party during the day-could easily be several thousand each party. Or buying tickets for a few and a table at a few.

On Strip clubs most all of them do the free ride/free entry some of them even run bottle/table specials $100-200 a bottle.

Realize you might be smashed after a pool party and will not make it to nightclub. Or be smashed from the nightclub/strip club and not make it to the pool party.

Friday Night - Hyde or 1OAK - $1500min ($2200 all in)
Friday afterhours - Rhino - Free limo and entry
Saturday - GBDC - $1000min ($1500 all in)
Saturday Night - Marquee - $2000min ($3000 all in)
Sunday Night - XS - $2000min ($3000 all in)

Assuming you leave on Monday. That works out to $5750 per person...so still plenty to play with at Rhino, gamble, eat, or whatever.
That'd be a crazy weekend.

Realize a strip club is going to have some upbeat music playing. I wouldn't recommend paying a huge table premium if you have never experienced the club before/know nothing about what music is playing.

1oak vs xs (guetta that night) is going to be a difference experience
marquee vs surrender- Ferry Corsten vs Calvin Harris totally different sound

Can't go wrong with this plan....your liver may be mad at you by Monday! If the weather is nice that weekend you might want to look into a pool party (Encore, Marquee, etc...just depends on who is open at that point) on Saturday.

You can start out with a lower min on Thursday to feel out the experience. The venues I suggested will give you a good mix of mega club, medium sized clubs and a mix of hiphop, open format, and edm. The minimums will get you some good locations and plenty of booze to make new friends.
