  • Bachelor Party round 2

Hi JC crew, been reading the forums for a couple weeks in preperation for a bachelor party in June.

We are going to be a group of 10-12 guys and I was looking for clarifications between Ultralounges, clubs, megaclubs ect ect. This is the same group that was on a bachelor party 3 years ago, stayed at ceasers and went to Pure. We are only staying thursday night (arriving 10pm)-sunday at the Encore. One of our major mistakes last time was cramming in too many activities (pool, big dinner, club all in the same day) so for this year we are planning to do one major event per day. We are pretty set on Encore Beach Club with caba/BS for one of the days, if not both friday and saturday.

As such we want to go all out at a club ONE night. The question is, where do we go? Last year we went to Pure and had a great time but it was our first experience, didn't realize that there were better tables than the ones outside... We are willing to pay up to $3000 probably, so do we go to a "tier 2" club/lounge like 1OAK and get the best table/service ect, or do we go to a tier 1 places like XS?? Thanks for your help!

If there's 10 in your group and each are willing to spend $300 at the club, Tier 1 should be no problem. What's the overall music preference of your group? What kinda music does the groom want to hear? Is your group into EDM? There are much better options than Pure these days.

Marquee/XS will be mostly EDM, while 1OAK will be more about hip-hop/mainstream. If you like EDM, can't go wrong with Marquee. I have yet to go to XS but I hear that's another you can't go wrong with. Once you narrow down your choices, talk to different hosts of the clubs and see what kind of quotes you can get.

Also consider doing the JC Invasion in June: http://shop.jackcolton.com/

Yeah it really comes down to music preference, location you want, and the type of crowd you're after.
Rank those in order of importance....

For a 2500 minimum id be able to get you a great spot at 1 Oak. Most likely a large dance floor table. We play a variety of music mainly top 40 and house towards the end of the night.

Thanks for the responses! I think we would rank those 3 as

            1. Crowd (young fun people, we are all around 24, and cute girls)
            2. Table location
            3. Music

Music 3rd because we really don't have a preference. I'll be in touch with you sometime in April Joey, thanks!

The Dance floor table sound pretty sweet. What kind of table can I expect at XS for the 3g number?

Backwall or tier 2, depending on the DJ that night. XS will be EDM though.
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

What would tier 2 in XS be considered? Outside?

Most likely in the tables labeled in the 300 - 400 range (maybe 700 - 800 as well?). IMO - back wall would be too small for a group of 10+...more suited for groups of 4-6.
