Wanted to reach out to my fellow JC peeps to see if anyone had any solid host contacts at Marquee NY. Heading to NY, from DC, next month and was looking to get a table.
if you wouldn't mind posting what the hosts quote you, etc, that'd be awesome. i'm not going soon, but will be before the summer is out as i live up here and would like to have a solid idea of what i'd be dealing with. thanks in advance.
I'd be interested to know too. Funny, my drive to NY is prob shorter than the flight to Vegas and I've never been to a club in NY. I've heard the doors in NY are tighter than in Vegas, but I'm guessing if you get a table you don't have to worry about it. I'm wondering if the prices are similar or higher. I love Marquee in Vegas, maybe I need to try it in NY!

Doors aren't bad in NY and the table prices are generally the same if not lower; all depends where you go. No need to spend anywhere near what you would in Vegas to have a GREAT time. The great thing about NY is there are SOOOO many different places to go.
My trip isn’t until the end of April but I did indeed hear back from, Laurent Baud, Joey’s guys who works at Marquee. He gave me a price range of $4k for my group size of 15 guys. Of course him and I both understood that things are fluid and dependent on who’s spinning that night. He also explained that, unlike Marquee LV, their venue is all one room with dance, balcony, and mezzanine tables. I’ve been looking at their Feb calendar and personally I haven’t been too impressed with their Saturday lineup….Gareth Emery, Rony Seikaly, and Quintino. However, it must be noted that Tiesto was there last Saturday.
I take it you’re from Baltimore? I’m in Canton right near the Square. I def LOL’d at your statement about how the drive to NY is shorter than our flight to Vegas….never thought about that one but it’s def true.

Thanks for the update. Yup, I live in the county but I'm in the Canton/Fed Hill area a lot. Headed down to Fed Hill for the Irish Stroll next weekend. I talked to my GF about going to NY for a night out and all she wants to do is go on a food tour...looks like it'll be a guys trip for me too whenever I make it up there!
For multi-city itineraries or international business travel, do you usually book everything yourself or work with a travel advisor? I'm curious whether...
I enjoy how this post combines clarity and substance in a way that keeps the discussion engaging, clear, and open enough for readers with different viewpoints...
