Hi, I'm heading to Vegas soon and thanks to some people they pointed me to here. Now I'm from London in the uk and I'm used to the higher prices and longer queues to get into the higher end places where everyone else wants to be.

But reading through the forum about the prices that people have to pay to have a good night is ludicrous to say the least. It's all fine when you can afford it or want to be treated like a king or queen for the night.

So my question is as I assume 80% of the public in Vegas are normal working class people, is there such a thing as a normal night out? I mean it in the general sense like you queue up with everyone else you pay to get in and you pay for your drinks.

I see the advantage of a host skipping lines, paying off bouncers to get you in faster. Am I missing the point here?

I think most of you guys or galls know where I'm comming from. Even if I haven't quite explained it right.

It just seems you need to use theses services or you spend the night out in the cold. I mean I don't mind slipping the bouncer or a host a tip for doing me a good deed but is it necessary for just clubbing?

The easiest way to have the kind of "normal" night you're referring to is buy presale tickets to the club you want to attend. This guarantees you entry without tipping or waiting in a long line. Once inside you'll have to wait in line for drinks and they're not cheap, but that's unavoidable in Vegas.

You can buy pre-sales through the official club websites or through a site like http://wantickets.com/

If you're going to be by yourself or with a smaller group on a budget, then bottle service doesn't make sense. However, if you're going to be with a big group, pooling your money and getting bottle service is definitely the way to go, IMO. The overall experience is far superior.

Hi Scott, I'm also from the UK.

Had a trip to Vegas back in October and wondered a similar thing but you've come to the right place (this forum) for help. I didn't think our budgets would garner the services of a host but after getting to LV and chatting to a few whose contacts I got on here (Noah, Anthony, Joey) they were really awesome guys and able to sort out smaller things like guest list etc with zero hassle.

We didn't do bottle service, I wish we could have, but a host can sort more than just that for you and I would say it's well worth getting in touch with one, especially if you are up to more than just clubbing on your trip - they have contacts everywhere! Even if it's just to get you set up at the right club, once you're in the door you can buy drinks at the bar like normal. It's not a necessity and you can stand in line and pay on the door but that may actually work out more expensive and you'll probably not have as good a time doing it!

Just a note, most lineups are inside the hotels so you're not out in the cold unless it's a pool party and it wouldn't be cool anyway.

Thanks for the replies guys. We head out out on wednesday for 10 days, 2 friends and I. We are just going to plan the day as they come rather than say we want to go there there and there. Also reading through the posts the industry nights mid week seem like a real blast and not as protenchous as the friday and saturday nights plus a lot friendlier on the wallet for the same experiance.

So am i right in thinking its cool to just grab a few host numbers from here and then tx them on the day and see how they are fixed in helping us out etc? also mentioning this site as a referal?

That was all I did for my group and it went down OK. I would say also, obviously reading on here which nights at which clubs are best might work out well too. We went Monday - Friday and had a blast.

It was expensive but not prohibitively so, however if you are having a big night with a reasonable size group I can see how bottle service would be an economically viable option!
