Advice for 2 Vegas Virgins from Canada!

Hey all!

I have a few questions I was hoping someone could help me out with!

I've been to Vegas once, a few summers ago, so I guess I'm not technically a Vegas virgin... but I went with the wrong person and had a pretty terrible time. I didn't have a chance to even walk into a club.

This time around I'm coming down with one, maybe 2, girlfriends from February 21-25. We're looking to party pretty hard every night, except for maybe Thursday because we fly in pretty late. We were wondering which clubs are musts? We love EDM, but I have a soft spot for hip-hop and rap too. I've been poking around this website for about a month now and from the sounds of things GBDC is pretty unreal - is it as awesome as it seems? Also we're on a fairly tight budget (we're students coming down on our spring break), so budget friendly advice for a couple of broke girls would be greatly appreciated!

^^ Contact some hosts and get on guestlists. Also, unless your flight is getting in at like 2 am (Thu night/Fri AM), I wouldn't think that partying is out of the question on the night you get in. Clubs are just getting good around 1200.

After some more searching with the club suggestions in mind I'm leaning towards Cosmic Gate at Marquee on Friday, Max Vangeli at Surrender on Saturday and Hard Rock Sofa at XS on Sunday.

Where is best on Thursdays? We would probably be ready to go around 11:30/midnight but I think my friend wanted to just walk around the strip with some beers because she's never been... however I'm sure I could sway her into a club if it's good

+1 for Tao on Thursday if you want to mix some hip hop in. Looks like DJ 5ive is in the main room so that could lean more towards hip hop (or at least did the one time I've seen him)...otherwise you can migrate towards the Opium Room.

Haute Thursdays at 1oak is also a great time with more of a hip-hop/top 40 vibe for thurs night...joey orr can take care of you there

You could also add Haze to that mix on Thursdays. I've done all the above on Thursdays and I've enjoyed them all. It just depends on what you're looking for in terms of music for that nigh.

Totally agree. IMO go with Tao on Thursday. Otherwise, solid agenda.
