Advice for Haze in April

OK...here are the details:

5 couples, from Minnesota, coming to Las Vegas in April, staying at Aria.

The nine of them are early 30's...me I'm 46,(wife is 36), they arent much for clubs outside of the downtown Mpls scene, so I know a Vegas club will blow them away. I myself am an old partier, but my only Vegas club experience is Tryst about 5years ago.
Back then my buddy got us in ( he, my wife and I) , because he dated a girl whose 2 twin older sisters worked at Tryst and got us on some "list".
Sure enough when we got the club, we talk to a big mofo with an earpiece and a clipboard, drop the name , and boom, we're in...no cover, no nothin'
Once inside, drinks are crazy expensive, but hey,its Vegas right?....but no tables, nowhere to sit, its shoulder to shoulder in there...so my buddy asks, and told its 1K for a table and bottle service...no problem he says, he pulls out hid CC and boom, we have a table and bottles. We proceed to have the time of our lives.

Fast forward the present. Ive told this epic tale numerous times, and so now they are looking at me to be the leader of thier Vegas club experience, so they can have the time of their lives as well.

So, Ive been doing some online research. I choose Haze becasue we are staying at Aria, and I dont want my crew wandering around Vegas all fugged up. I've read reviews and read horror stories about, " I paid for this and got this"..or "the girls got in, but the guys had to wait in line for an hour"

So, if you're still with me, here are my questions/concerns:

- should we pre order, reserve, whatever...a table and or bottle service?
- can we get just a table, no bottle service?
- is it a bad idea to just get a table and no bottle service?
- with 10 of us , we will go thru 2 bottle spretty quick
- should I be setting this all up now, or can I do it when we get there?
- Ive seen the contacts for Aria on here, and plan on speaking to and dealing with them
- what night should we go or avoid?
- we will be there weds,, fri, sat nights April 3-8
-prefer EDM music, but doesnt have to be, just something the girls can dance (grind) to

I'm sure I'll have more questions once I get some responses

You should reserve a table 1 week in advance for Friday night. 10 people will probably be a 3 bottle minimum. That will cost around $2k after taxes and tips. Friday at Haze is EDM. I'd book thru Joey Orr personally.

Tables and Bottles are one in the same. If you reserve a "table" you are paying for both the location and the alcohol (and a few extras like mixers).

Haze sounds like the right place for you based on your criteria - so good choice!

FYI...Joey said recently that Fridays are now open format like other nights. They did away with the "In the House" theme night.

I certainly will...I texted all of them wt Chuck said and the 2K price, so 200 per head , and some have "sticker shock" and some others know thats the going rate........it's VEGAS !!....arrrgh....I cant expalin enough how there probably gonna spend 200 + each anywhere we go, but here we're guarenteed enrty, a table, and 3 bottles...one guy even tells me, he's gonna call his buddy who has a "hook up" in Vegas....yeah, OK I tell him...let me know....then another wants to buy some club passes for 80.00 ??...that gets you into "all these clubs".... I dont believe that either...plus I dont want to be club hoppin all night, and even if we did, we're still spending 200 each including f'ing cab fare..........oh well, hopefully they come to thier senses soon.

Divide the group...it's the only way when dealing with idiots. The enlightened members of the group, throw down on bottles, the others can fend for the themselves. They can still stop by the table after they navigate the line, unless of course you've filled your area with all of your new lady friends....they'll probably be too busy battling for drinks at the bar anyway. If you have 8 people you can probably get a two bottle minimum, which, after tips/taxes will be around $1400. Trim the dead weight and have a good time.
If they decide they want in on the fun at the table, they can pool their money and buy another bottle.

Ok, I have had this problem before. I noticed you're going to be there some weekdays too. Why not get bottle service on Wednesday or Thursday? You'll likely be able to get a B1G1 deal somewhere (maybe even Haze if you do it Thursday which is their industry night). It will be cheaper, and your friends will be HOOKED. Did this myself a few years back, we got bottle service on a thurs, and everybody had such a great time we ended up doing it Friday and Saturday night too.

Ok, I have had this problem before. I noticed you're going to be there some weekdays too. Why not get bottle service on Wednesday or Thursday? You'll likely be able to get a B1G1 deal somewhere (maybe even Haze if you do it Thursday which is their industry night). It will be cheaper, and your friends will be HOOKED. Did this myself a few years back, we got bottle service on a thurs, and everybody had such a great time we ended up doing it Friday and Saturday night too.

hmmm....maybe we will try a thursday night, I can ask them, ...btw, I've been browsing alot of other threads....dont see alot of info on Haze or see anybody reccommending them.....is Haze a bad choice, should we ( I ) be looking at other clubs ??

It's a good choice if you an open format DJ appeals to you. It's not Marquee or XS by any means, but you can certainly have a good time there.

I went to Haze on a Thursday during my last trip. We didn't do bottles but had a blast. They've got great lighting and sound and it's pretty easy to navigate once inside. I really liked it...pretty sure they've added some additional lighting elements from what I've seen lately. I'd go again in a heartbeat.

Yes, Haze Thursday, start at Deuce Lounge to pregame with the rest of the Industry folks and girls. You will get a deal on Thursdays b2g1 at least I'm sure. Good Music, good show, dancers, effects, all of that. Music, a little of everything, system booms.
