  • V Card - Las Vegas Nightclub Pass. Yay or Nay?

So this is my first post on the forums. I've been lurking for a few weeks now in planning a bachelor party for a friend of mine. We aren't going until June 28-July 1, but figured I'd do some homework ahead of time. We are a group of 12 guys going.

My original plan involved getting bottle service at XS for sunday night. We don't want to go spending 500 bucks a person to grab a table on saturday night because i'm assuming 3-3.5k table minimums. Our budget is 200-250 for a clubbing night per person and we wanted to hit up a tier 1 club.

One person in the group suggested we just buy V Cards. I never heard about them, so I looked it up. Looks like they get you no line no cover into some of the clubs in the city. They cost like 100 bucks a card. He figured we could just hitup Tao on friday or saturday using those cards and not bothering with bottle service. It'll be a busier night of the week, so figured it'd be better in terms of crowd and atmosphere.

I'm a little hesistant as to how effective these cards are. And if we are going to be spending 100 on the cards, might as well just get bottle service.

    Anyone have any input?

You could easily get bottle service at Tao on that budget. That's definitely a better way to go than buying a V card and not having a table at XS.

You could also probably get a non dance floor table at XS if you really want to go there.

You can get presales to Tao for 20-40 usually.

Bottle service one night + pre-sales the other nights would get my vote. If you end up doing BS then ask your host what they can do to get you into a different club the next night....might be able to work something out.

Doing BS for a batchelor party makes sense but when did the V card become $100?
you can get it cheaper....and it works well...I used it last year during the July 4th wknd and I was surprised that it paid for itself in spite of the blackout restrictions.

I'd question why you're not hitting XS or Marquee on Friday/Saturday doing BS and using the V card for access to Strip Clubs since it is a Batchelor Party... either way you'll have fun.
