  • Planning for Large Bachelor Parties(?)

Any advice with planning for a bachelor party of 10+? Mostly looking for the best way to handle nightclub situations. Is it unheard of to get more than one table to accommodate for everyone?

Really clueless on this one, so any help is appreciated! Thanks guys!

It's fairly common for large groups to book more than one table. Contact the host(s) at the venues you want to visit and let them know that you want to book a couple tables to fit your whole party. They will give you two tables next to each other.

Granted this was almost 5 years ago, but I did a group of 31 guys and we were able to do one huge cabana at Pure. The majority of places won't be able to fit that and you'll probably have to book 2-3 tables.

Expect to commit to at least 4 bottles at tier 1 clubs for 10-12 guys so that's about 3k-4k depending on the club before host tip.
See who is down to commit at least $400-500 and who isn't. Weed those people out and have them buy presales and their own drinks at the bar. You could probably get better/cheaper deals at tier 2 clubs if you don't mind where you go, all depends on your music preference.

One table should be fine, not everyone really sits so it's not necessary to have two tables unless you want to.
Depending on the weather and time you're going, a grand cabana at Marquee would be a great spot for that many people and being outside during the summer helps a lot too. It's elevated so you're overlooking the whole outside of Marquee. XS and Surrender also has cabanas too if you don't mind being a little away from the action/dance floor but if that's what you're looking for and the budget can accomandate then I'd go for two backwall tables at either clubs. Hope this helps.

Depends on the Venue you choose to go to... You have more options then you may think.

Last summer we hit Encore Beach Club for Calvin Harris, 15 guys for a bachelor party, they set us up with 3 lillypads right beside each other... wasn't a problem at all.

Will the door guys/bouncers give a large bachelor party +20 guys a problem at the door... even if you have bottle service reserved with the VIP host? I'm assuming no, but I just want to make sure we could all roll into the club together. Or does it have to be staggered?

You will not have any issues with that. You will be dealing with your host at the ropes not a bouncer (except for the ID check)

Sounds good thank you for the response. Also, I have a question about tipping. I've had a few times where my VIP host was NOT there when we arrived. However, I was on a list with my group and was taken to a table by another guy. 1) how do I make sure my VIP host gets taken care of? 2) how much are people expected to tip the person who actually takes you to the table?
                    Does this make sense?
                    Thanks!

i would say best bet is come up with a budget. Come up with a budget with the most you want to spend and the minimum you want to spend. For example when you contact a host lets just say Noah at Light and say noah we want to come in friday our budget is between 1500-2000 +grat n tip for 10 guys Noah now can narrow down what he can do for you and then shoot you back options. Then you can pick which option suits you best. I always ask my clients what there budget is because it may be actually cheaper sometimes to get more then one table then say we have 15 dudes on one table.
