  • XS for 3 people

    Hi guys,

I am planning a small trip to LV with 3 other guys in mid February- We usually hit Tryst and Tao, but wanted to try XS this time.

I was quoted a minimum 3K to be inside for three people, I think because Avicii is head lining. We really don't want an outside table in February, but 3K seems steep for only 3 people- Does this seem reasonable?

Thanks for your help in advance

You would get quoted the same if it were 8 people. That 3k is gonna get you sat in the backwall and yeah it's normal pricing for XS given its Avicii

3K is not necessarily "normal" even with Avicii playing. Shop around with different hosts. I guarantee you will get a better number. Most people just take 1 hosts "word" that the price given is right. I would contact 4-5 hosts to confirm.

Just as reference (Funny cause I literally just posted this in another thread regarding this same subject), I was quoted 3k at XS for Avicii as well this past April when he was there. So Im going with a yes on normal pricing. The number of people in your group doesnt play as big of a role then the location of your table (we had 10 in our group) since these are spend mins and not bottle mins. Trade off is more room at the booth compared to a larger group (where people are gonna have to stand) since the backwall booth cant fit more than 6-7 people comfortably

Shop around. Use the Best rate guarantee. They'll match the best rate plus 25%. And if you use the lower rate, and then get screwed cause you didn't use a senior host, you'll know what you paid for.

And the club is called excess and not reasonable. To me 3k for 3 people is too much. But that's because I don't have millions of dollars. Better to try to meet up with people and split the costs. Like Presto and Dex said, that's the quote. It's not like it's priceline.com and you get to bid your table price.

Kidding aside, see what you find. But generally I'd take 600+ posts>less than 50 posts. Just saying.
That being said, if you're asking if it can be done, you're probably not at the level where you could pull it off.

You want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

Las Vegas was good. Hell of a ship, hell of a crew.

You could try a big tip with a lower minimum. 2-2.5k min with a 500 tip.

When they moved that DJbooth to where it is now it changed things a lot. Sometimes they sell pre-sale tickets for the pool area ONLY lol. you arent allowed inside after a certain time unless you have a table or tip one of the bouncers to let you in.

When we were there last summer we lost track of time at the tables and they wouldn't let us inside from the pool area because they were at capacity. This was with regular tickets

Thanks for everyones suggestions. At $1K a person, we are probably priced out at XS.. Thinking Tryst, although I wonder how the crowds will be elsewhere that night. Assuming Avicii at XS will be drawing most of the talent

There's more than enough talent in Vegas to go around

There will still be plenty of talent to go around.

Unless you really want to see Avicii it's not worth going to XS. Those back wall tables are not ideal...especially if you're near the restrooms. You could probably get a lot better table location at other spots for 2 bottles ($1200 - 1500).

Pass on Avicii, you can see him any place else. everyone and their mom will want to be there that night.
