Tryst, Tao, 1oak, and Haze has some open format rooms or nights

Tier 1 Marquee with Vice on a Monday. Tier 2 isn't really a problem finding hip hop being played. Body English just started a hip hop only night. DJ Homicide at Haze if he's in town.

As for why there aren't more dedicated hip hop nights, people acting foolish and short money.

Haze, 1Oak, Bank, Chateau, Gallery all play a good amount of Hip Hop, Tryst/Tao on certain nights, but I've been to Hyde too on a good open format night with a really hot LA/NYC style crowd, Body English on Sunday is all Hip Hop had a blast this past Sunday.
