  • Tipping a 'VIP Hotel Host'

We have a large group going to Vegas in the summer. I have been in contact with a 'VIP host' at planet hollywood since we have a large group. So far she has helped us book the panoramic suite and put a handful of room reservations in the same area of the hotel. I am also asking her help in making some bottle reservations at a few day/night spots.

First off, I am not sure if I will ever see her during my stay

Second, If I do see her, i.e walking us to our room or something of this nature.. What is the standard tip for a service like this?

It is someone from this service: http://www.totalexperiences.com/

    Thanks for the help.

There isn't a 'standard' tip for such a service...as with all tips...a service was rendered. Did the person providing the service go above and beyond and make everything run smooth? If so, and they setup multiple things for you I'd tip them $25 for each they did a nice job with. So say they booked your rooms, and setup reservations at three places. I'd give them $100 if the greet you at the hotel.

If they don't make an effort to greet you, then I wouldn't worry about it.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.
