  • First timer, early spring breank, any abosulte musts?

Hello all. First timer heading to vegas for spring break with a couple friends. Early break so no the real spring break season, were going feb/first week of march. We're all 21/22 and going clearly to party. Probably staying at the Hard Rock, maybe MGM, open to suggestions for best places to stay and party on a reasonable budget. Just wondering if you guys think there are any places (clubs/lounges) we should definitely check out over others? I've done some research so I know the big ones, just curious. Probably going to be there for a short trip Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night, fly home saturday.

    Thank you

Well unfortuantely the pool parties probably wont be opened but I have seen people speak of the Ghostbar Day Club having parties now. Last time I was there I really enjoyed Haze on a Thursday night. Friday you can go anywhere. Make sure you look at wantickets.com to see all the events going on the week you will be there bc presale tickets (if a group of guys) may be a good idea.

thanks for the tips, from the reading I've done on here definitely going to check out presale and wanttickets.

I was curious though is it easier to just go through wantickets or is it more beneficial to talk to one of the guestlists/hosts listed here? I was wondering because I don't really have much experience with guestlists and hosts. Thanks

I would do the tickets if there is a big dj or its a super crazy night in Vegas otherwise I would contact a host and figure something out that way.

At the risk of sounding dumb, what exactly does "working something out with a host" include? I know it can be as much or little as you want, get what you pay for, but for a small group just looking to get into clubs and avoid lines so they will be able to do that for the normal cover+extra fee? Is that how it generally works. Excuse my ignorance I just like to research before I go so, and have learned a lot here doing so.

Text a host and see if they could guestlist you and then take care of them for doing so. You could always wait out the line too, but who the hell wants that right? Certain clubs on certian nights the line will move pretty quickly.

thank you. we'll be there wed, thurs, fri so I assume the first two nights the lines won't be too crazy because it's not spring break yet. but will probably go the host or wantickets/presale route.

Still open to any other tips for a first timer in vegas, thanks.

Also, tough to find after a quick google search. Which club has the best/biggest dance floor or scene. I know biggest and best might be different, one based on opinion, but clearly we want to go out at least one night to just dance and rage haha

Here's a quick breakdown, from what I've seen recently going out...These are the clubs open that have Industry Nights, shouldn't be too hard to get in, a host at the venue can help you get right in, guest list or table.
Wed. - The Act (I think is a must see, crazy concept and setup unlike any other club really, you get to see a good show and party)
Surrender - tough, to pick one over the other, but Surrender is more EDM, and Act is more Open Format,
Thurs- Haze, Tryst, Tao, I've had fun at all of them, (check talent/DJ then maybe make a decision)
Fri- Everything is open...so depending on taste/flavor/ you can hit everything, Big EDM- XS or Marquee, Open Format- maybe 1Oak, cool view /scene maybe Hyde, all options will be open Friday so you shouldn't be disappointed
