  • Lounges, Bars and Clubs for an Older Crowd

    Hi

Can someone point me in the right direction of the kind of bars & clubs nowadays which cater for a slightly older scene (30's)? I remember from a previous trip there used to be a guide on this site but I can't find it anymore. Last time around the suggestions were Gold Lounge, Voodoo and Tryst, but as that was a couple of years ago, so I thought I'd check to see whether there's anywhere new for us to consider?

There's four of us there for Super Bowl w/end - Thursday thru Monday. We're presentable and up for it, but not keen on being the oldest dudes in the room...

Thanks in advance for any tips...

30's crowd is everywhere...probably even more so SB weekend...don't limit yourself
If you want to party your ass off go to Marquee and party your ass off. If you want to chill and have a drink lounges like Gold, Lilly, MIX, Ghostbar are great options. Seriously tho if you want to hit a club just pick a place with music you like and go for it. You will NOT be he oldest there if you're only in your 30's.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Gold is nice. Tabu at the MGM is small but loud and more of a club setting.

Tabu was complete hell when I went there. Chuck has a great point in that you wont be the oldest in any club.

Is Tabu still open or was it swallowed up by the Hakkasan project?

Stopped in last trip for some drinks during prime hours before going out and stayed for 1/2 of a drink. Lady charged us 5 bucks to get in. Live and learn I guess, but I had to laugh because in my phone I have contacts to every club in Vegas and here I am standing in line and paying a cover to get into fucking Tabu

All the clubs have 30+ guys, I don't know anywhere that you would feel out of place, not even the big elctro spot like XS and Marquee. For lounges where it's more social versus partying...
                Lilly - Bellagio
Hyde- Bellagio (sort of clubby late)
Parasol Up & Down - Wynn
                Deuce Lounge- Aria
                Chandelier Bar- Cosmo
These are my lounge, talk, drink, tell stories, talk to people spots!

I'd go with what kazflair recommends. Out of them, I've been to all except to the Deuce Lounge. I'm much more into listening to good beats, so out of that list, I'd go with Hyde as the most club-like out of the list.

Haha! I was just talking to my GF about going to Tabu (we're staying at MGM this weekend) and the uncertainty of that decision. A $5 cover would have sealed the deal on going elsewhere, but now I won't even bother!
