I really believe group mood is exponentially more important than the DJ, the service, the price of bottles, the crowd, etc etc.. All those things can matter, but nowhere near to the degree that the collective mood of your group affects things.

IMO part of the "mood" is set by the DJ. if they're playing stuff you don't like and am not feeling, then you will either not have a good time, or spend alot of money on drinks until you're having a good time. and unless youre right, the latter isn't the best option
