Alright, we survived the Mayan Apocalypse and the New Year, up next Supper Bowl Weekend. Looks like a crew of 6 confirmed (3g3g) with the addition of another couple possible. We arrive Friday 2/1 the rest of the crew 2/2 and stay through 2/5. Here is an initial run down with thought and questions - please comment and suggest. Thanks!
The wife and I are the club vets, then we have a couple that wants to learn the ways and then there is an "unknown" couple that may or may not participate. We are into House/EDM from Eric Murillo to Skrillex to Mash-Up. The rest of the crew is Texas but will be on our schedule.
Fri: 1OAK with DJ Karma. Just 2 so try to guest-list it. Have heard good things about Karma.
Sat: Surrender with Calvin Harris. Already in touch with Anthony K. ??: How big is Surrender and what is the Feb. party like? Is the patio open - we will be inside for sure, but just curious to the atmosphere? I assume that it is still standard that headliners go on close to 1AM? The other two couples will be coming from the George Straight concert down at the MGM (8pm). Can half show up early and get settled while throwing the others on the list for later arrival? (I assume so and will check with Anthony closer to the weekend)
Sun: I think we have a reserved spot in the PH sports book for the big game - that's on the other couple. Where to go for a good after party? It seems like we are still a week away from all the announcements - is that correct?
Mon: Probably going to need to "slow down" just a bit. Any good places for B1G1? We might slide by Hyde just because that place is awesome. XS or Marquee with good Feb Monday deals/DJs?
