New Years Day?

Hey all...

Going on my annual Vegas New Years trip next weekend...last year the New Years Day lineup was just as good as NYE...

This year absolutely nothing has been announced for Jan 1.
Do they expect the city to be that empty come Tuesday?

Does anyone know of events going on? Thought i'd at least see something at either Lavo or 1Oak?

I think you kind of answered your own question.

Last year, New Years Day was a Sunday, which fit perfectly with the normal schedules of some clubs (Marquee and XS, to be precise). This year, it's on a Tuesday at the end of what is essentially a 4-day weekend (which culminates with New Years Eve). Places like Marquee and XS, which are closed on Tuesday anyway, don't have a whole lot of incentive to stay open an extra night.

Can't imagine any of the regular Tuesday night spots will have something big, for the same reason.

I think there will be a MASS exodus on Tuesday and most of those that are still there probably won't want to party.
