New to the Vegas nightlife scene. My wife and I are taking her Best friend and her boyfriend to vegas for BF's Birthday. Are we going to have a hard time getting in (2 guys and 2 girls)? Doesn't seem like Bottle Service is worth it for 4 people, but what do I know. Were staying at the Mirage...

Pre-sale tickets are the way to go if you don't want to do bottle service. My wife and I will be there from the 14th-17th, what kind of music are you guys into? Bottle service is fun, but can definitely be pricey, depending on the club and DJ playing. What time do you get in on Saturday?

We like pretty much all music with the exception of a lot of RAP/R&B.
We fly land a little before noon.

On Saturday we will be at Ghost Bar Day Club at the Palms from around 1-6pm and then XS for Calvin Harris that night... Whats your budget look like? We could look into splitting a table for one of these if your interested?

We're now leaning towards either XIV on Sunday or Marquee on Monday night.

How does XIV work for tickets? is it tickets + toy, just a toy? just tickets?

Might be interested in splitting BS one of those nights if it's on the cheaper side.

Bottles are worth it as long as it doesnt use up a huge chunk of your cash

Thoughts/help?

I think bottle service is worth it if:

1. you don't like waiting at the bar for your drinks
2. your GF or lady friends are in heels because many complain about being in pain after an hour.
3. you want to toast to a special occasion.
4. you can agree to drinking to mostly one type of alcohol (I usually stay away from ordering beer for bottle service because of the cost/value)
5. you can afford it, because let's face it, if you can't afford it, then a Las Vegas nightclub with drinks running an average of around 8.00-15.00 per drink (w/o gratuity depending on the club and the type of alcohol) is probably not for you.

That said, I prefer to save my money, NOT go to bars or nightclubs where I live and save it on Vegas. I find people in Vegas much more interesting.
