Jan 3 - 7, need some advice

Hey guys,

Myself and a friend (both Australians, 24 & 26 y/o) are gonna be staying at the Luxor Jan 3-7. This is a Thursday through Sunday night. Obviously LAX is the easiest option for our first night there but where else would you recommend for a Thursday night? And also for the other 3 nights. At this stage we're not sure what nights we will hit up a club so we want to consider our options, but im pretty sure our first night will be a big one.

Also, what is the best way to avoid lining up for a long time? This is a big issue for me as I hate lining up for more than 30 minutes. Ive been told that meeting girls in the line is a good option to walk in with.

How well do those vegas.com "VIP" passes work? Do they actually get you express entry?

I recall someone telling me that Hyde has become a great Thursday night spot, as well. Can someone confirm this?

If you enjoy EDM, I would strongly encourage you to check out XS and Marquee at any point from Friday through Sunday, since these are the major Tier 1 clubs nightclubs right now. However, if you are looking for a different type of music or a nightclub that is not so crowded, there are a lot of other great options. Since you will be there the weekend after NYE, I don't believe anywhere will be overly crowded.

Although I have never used the "VIP passes" myself, I've been told to try and avoid these.

Hyde is a lounge on Thursday but they are one of top spots for Tuesday night. Don't buy the VIP passes. You can get those for free pretty much any given night from promoters outside the clubs. If you buy anything in advance just get presale tickets directly from the venues website.
