BS Marquee 12/15 for Dirty South

Hi guys first post for me here. Making my third trip out to vegas in two weeks and was quoted $1k min for 8 guys for BS at Marquee nightclub on a Saturday night while Dirty South is playing. I think its a really good deal, but if we are doing BS we don't want some table in another room at Marquee. So, whats the best way to stick with the 1k min and get a decent table? From what I've been reading it sounds like offer a decent tip to the host up front? How much do you think?

$1K for 8 guys at Marquee has to be either in the Lounge or Patio or Library. Anywhere in the main room is going to probably be closer to $2k at the absolute minimum. With Dirty South there and it being a Saturday night I highly doubt you'd be able to tip your way into the main room. Are you working with Noah?

I got that quote from Crews. I have only been to the day club so I'm not that familiar with the nightclub, other than that I know there are different rooms. If we stayed at 1k what do you think would be the best room to be in at least?

Also for clarification we've had a cabana outside in October at XS and liked that with the extra room. Could 1k get us something like that at Marquee?

Yeah my guess is the $1K for 8 guys is on the patio. They have a screen up of the DJ and the main room music plays out there.
Ask to be sure if he's planning on a cabana for you.

Get in touch with Justin and let him know you want to be in or close to the main room. He'll be able to give you more solid numbers. It's always good to give the location you want as we'll as your numbers upfront, so they can give you all of your options.

Thats a library room table or boombox room if you get there early MAYBBEEEE patio if you're one of the firsts to get to the club. I've always known cabanas to be 2k min and Grand Cabanas 3k min.

edit: given that its winter season (slow season) i could be off on the mins. ask your host what location he had in mind for you.

Hey Dex, Justen said Library or Patio. I was originally thinking patio but isn't it going to be freezing cold. I know they will have some type of heat lamps but I can only imagine that those can only do so much.

Anyone have any experience with the library room?

Library is a top40 lounge upstairs. patio will be quite cold even with the heat lamps until it gets packed with body heat. 1k is library but justen can make it patio if you arrive super early.

I wouldn't want to be outside all night in Feb. See if you could get into the cloud bar or something for $1500. Best $500 you'll ever spend.

Unless you are a huge FAN of Dirty South....I would skip Marquee.

You need to have a Big booth in prime location ..at least 4k
Otherwise all the hotties will be scooped up.

You would probably have a better time (more action with chicks) at tier 2 or 3 club, especially with your limited budget.

The crowd at Marquee on Saturday wasn't that impressive, compared to Feb when I was there for Marquee.
I actually felt bad for people...there is almost no where to stand in the main room. The bouncers keep making you move in the huge circular area outside the dance floor....chances of getting on the dance floor aren't great either

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately my large group is a bunch of college friends that all saw dirty south at marquee day club last year in october and had beyond an epic time, so I don't think anyone could be swayed somewhere else even if we tried haha. It looks like it will probably be a slow weekend next weekend (no fights, no holidays, and right before christmas), so after talking with someone that works there I think I'm going to hold off and try to book it the night before or day of.
