  • Tiesto at Xs or Aoki at Surrender....I want to DANCE!!!

Trying to decide between Tiesto and Aoki on 12/29. Which venue is better for dancing....or with both places be so packed that I won't be able to dance? Thanks!!!

XS has a bigger dance floor and a nicer nightclub overall.

I've seen both and honestly, Aoki puts on one of the best shows ever. Don't get me wrong, Tiesto was amazing too, but Aoki just can't be beat in terms of wanting to go crazy and dance.

NB: Last 2 times I was at Tiesto @ XS, they shut down the inside of club to GA and only let in certain people. (Those with BS?) Everyone else was crowding around outside near the big screen and it was quite honestly rather unpleasant. There was a stairwell, however, that took us directly inside though. Not sure how/why more people didn't use that (or rather, why XS didn't place a security guard there). This all might change in the winter though when it can get pretty cold outside.

All in all, go for Aoki. Tiesto will be a sardine can no matter what, especially if they start to mess with restricting entry into the club itself again.

XS has the outside open during winter but has heat lamps running as I recall. Dance floor will be packed anywhere you go on 12/29 with a name headliner. In a "may not be able to move much" scenario, I'd probably take Aoki for the entertainment value. While Tiesto DJs, Aoki is often out from behind the decks to spray champaign, go "white raver rafting", throw cakes, etc.

Personally, I don't like Steve Aoki's music at all (with the exception of a few songs). However, I feel that he is one of the best performers as far as EDM shows.

No matter what you may be disappointed. You can definitely dance in a Vegas nightclub but I'm not sure I'd go to xs or surrender just to dance. It'll be packed at both. If you're worried about space get bottles and dance on the booth or on the edges around the back.

For some reason I've never had any trouble with dancing in Vegas. Maybe it's because I'm 6'2 and don't notice all the little people around me...

Aoki is a lot of fun, but he's there constantly. It's hard to visit a Wynn club without running into him. Tiesto is a little bit more special, he tours constantly but will only be in Vegas a few times per year. I'd see Tiesto as you can pretty much guarantee that next time you'll be in Vegas, so will Aoki.

This. Tiesto shows are always crowded because he doesn't do multiple shows in short timeframe at the same venue. I could be wrong but that's just from my perspective, I love Tiesto but was only able to go to one of his sets and it was shoulder to shoulder.

They are both good. To be in Vegas at surrender or xs for one of their shows is 100 times better than going out at home. For me although I've seen tiesto many times in Vegas I'd still go with him because he's a legend. And he never disappoints...

Tiesto is in Vegas all the time. He plays a show at least once a month at a Wynn club. Hell he was playing twice a weekend at times this summer. Either one is going to be a good show.

Both of them have Wynn Residencies and with pool parties in the summer, of course they will be there often. That's all sure to get mixed up with the new year. New contracts, new venues etc.

Tiesto is fantastic, but there is a good chance it will be more crowded in and around the dance floor if that's your dance location preference. Aoki, well, he likes to jump, so the dance floor will resemble a bit of a mosh pit. Tiesto will probably be at XS, Aoki at Surrender. Surrender has a smaller dance floor, but the energy will be insane.

You really can't go wrong with either, but Aoki will always have high energy songs, where as Tiesto might bring it down a bit and bring it back up. Tiesto plays to the crowd IMO, where as Aoki is always a banger. I've seen both and they were fantastic, in their own ways.

"Fuck your friends, just do what you want to do" Aside from the more famous, "If you're not here, you're fucking up" AOD... Epic. "
