Advice for Thurs 11/15, Sat 11/17, Sun 11/18 please

Staying at Cosmo. Good chance i'll be flying solo since both of my buddies houses are toast thanks to hurricane sandy. Need advice on where to go please.

Thursday Nov 15 - might not go anywhere since I have a very early flight out of NYC, but just in case, anything good that night? (maybe go to bed early and wake up and go to drais, who knows)

Friday Nov 16 is Marquee for Arty. never heard of him but looking at some youtube vids - i like the style of music he plays (plus i get in for free ) so it should be a great night.

Sat Nov 17 - Maybe Kaskade, but marquee 2 nights in a row? and honestly-dont like vocal house music, and its also $70 for presale (wtf!). might bite the bullet if you say its a great party and everyone will be there.

Sun Nov 18 - no clue.

Definitely want to check out XS (never been) but they have swanky tunes (who???) on saturday and manufactured superstars (who seem lame) the next night. I definitely picked the worst weekend to go to XS it seems.

Criteria; Dont want rap or top40 music, prefer deep house and techno...i know, thats rare in LV though, so i'll settle for what they call "EDM" now. Prefer big clubs, with a fun (ie; people who actually go to dance instead of stare at each other) diverse crowd (youngins mixed with milf's). Dont want to go to Pure (wayyy too bright in there).

One more question if you havent fallen asleep reading this: how are industry nights? and what places are industry nights on Thursdays and Sundays?

Thursday you can swing over to Haze at Aria if you feel up to it. It's their Industry Night and a good place to GA...only 10 minute walk from Cosmo.

Kaskade will be an absolute madhouse...and honestly, for $70 I'd probably skip it. Check out Hyde instead.

I'm not a big fan of deep house, but from what I read (in bold), FWIW, I would consider Hyde more of a lounge setting and Marquee is a nightclub. If you want to go dance, then I'd pick Marquee. If cost is more of a deciding factor, Hyde.

Myself, I like Marquee. Scratch that, I love Marquee. But, in this case, I'd pick Hyde (just to try something different). However gubuju's comment is on point (you won't regret it).

I would strongly recommend going to see Manufactured Superstars. They have been AWESOME every time I've seen them. Also, it's a great opportunity to visit XS.

I had the opportunity to see Kaskade on his Freaks of Nature tour (not at Marquee). I really did not enjoy it very much. However, I have heard that seeing him at Marquee is a blast. If you don't like trance or EDM with vocals, I would advise you to skip Marquee for that night (especially for 70 bucks).

If you haven't heard of a lot of these guys, I would recommend going on youtube/spotify to check out out their stuff.

looks like its gonna be XS on sunday since theres not much else, if it sucks, i'll bail early and hit up drais (sundays is the best night i think)

There's a group of 30 of us over form the UK for those days, I'll also be solo Thursday until 11pm when the other flights get in, we're planning Marquee Friday (possible BS or pre-orders) and have sorted tables and BS at Pure on Saturday. Staying at the Trop. also Ghostbar dayclub Saturday day, looks like a good party.
