So, I somehow got myself into some kind of relationship with a woman and now will most likely go to Vegas with her (I know, fuck my life). How does one do nightlife as a couple without any friends? Do I just go kill myself now? Chuck, some advice please!

I think this is my 1000th post and I figured I might as well make it useful.
Hopefully you and her will like to do some of the same things, i.e. eat or go drinking. It's possible and actually pretty fun to go with someone (girlfriend, boyfriend, whatever) as long as they know what Vegas is about.
I did bottle service with a GF and took her to a lot of different clubs. It was easy access especially because it was 1:1 ratio. As well, we did a lot of lounges too.
Has she been there before? If not, you two can go check out the hotels and you can sorta play tour guide. What exactly does she like to do? (i.e. shop, gamble, drink, eat, etc?)FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

My first trip was my honeymoon so every trip has been with my wife. I actually prefer going with just the two of us. We always meet cool people and don't have to cater to what anyone else wants to do. You can definitely still go t a club, and definitely still party. Do this though...think of a couple things she will really enjoy...shopping for example. Yes it sucks, however, you gotta give and take. That said, you already have a love in your life...she needs to respect that love, and if she doesn't dig Vegas she's probably not the one.Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I thought the exact same thing as the OP when I went with my gf. I actually ended up having probably the best trip of all the eight times I've been. Take an afternoon and hit one of the outlet malls... she can browse some stores while you do the same for yourself. Do some shopping there and you'll be set for the year!
Depending on your budget, BS can be pricey for two people but we ended up doing it for our last night and it was definitely worth it. If you're looking for a low-key night, check out hyde (except tues since it's wild). You can order a pitcher of this lemonade something or other... delicious! Plus it'll be good for the two of you... besides the fact the place is absolutely gorgeous.
good luck with your trip!

To expand on the Hyde idea....
Take her shopping during the day on Friday, eat dinner somehwere nice, get a table at Hyde by the fountains at like 8:00pm. Order some drinks, have a little quality one on one time by the fountains with some good conversation. Here's the key, you MUST listen to what she says and be engaged in the conversation and NOT be shooting glances at the servers all the time
Then when it goes club mode she's had the best day of her life and she'll be up for anything.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

My last trip was with my wife (a vegas newbie). I was dreading it. But...she had a great time so did I. Just think of it this way 75% of the guys in the club will not be leaving with any girls where as you will be lol. If you both like to party you'll be fine.Twitter - www.twitter.com/gijatt

Vegas with your girl can be fun. As long as she is a fun person. It can be a good test to see if she can hang with you when you are hammered and losing/winning money.
Do you guys go out clubbing together back home? If she isn't into the scene, just make sure you prep her a little bit. And take her shopping for something that she'll have be comfortable in (IE - not to slutty, but not too conservative).
I think clubbing will be fine. The test will be what happens at other times. Will she want to watch you gamble for 5 hours straight? How does she handle a hangover?
Do you have another similar couple you can make the trip with?

Don't let her wear cheap high heels out, especially if she never wears heels back home. If she insists, then bring some of those fold up flats for her. A woman in Vegas with bruised and bloodied feet is bad for everyone. It took my wife like 6 trips to give up on the 6" foot manglers.Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Do girls really wear the fold up flats out??? I plan to wear heels, but I figured I will really pay for it the next day. Going out Friday & Saturday will be tough on the feet! On a side note, I am having a really hard time finding heels that don't have a 4 inch heel. I am 5'8" without the heels. I don't need to look like an amazon women!!! LOL!

My wife usually wears a wedge...says they're much better on the feet. She can rock those all night.Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

My wife learned the hard way this past summer that it isn't a good idea to wear heels to a vegas club especially when you want to dance a lot! Ended up walking home barefoot, although the walk from the Wynn to Venetian isn't very far.Twitter - www.twitter.com/gijatt
