Alright lets do this

Been to nice restaurants and shows in Vegas but was thinking of mixing in maybe a lounge that has good entertainment on a Thursday night.

Lets hear some suggestions from the pros.

Depends on the sort of entertainment you're looking for...
My wife and I have always had a good time at Napoleans the Piano Bar (Paris)
Hyde is a killer venue for sure, not sure about the "entertainment" on a Thursday though...I think some things are in the works
MIX has always been good to us, easy to meet people and grab a table without bottle service
Chandelier bar is a great place to snag a couch, sip some drinks, and have a nice convo
The Act seems (from Noah's description) that it would be a good spot for a wild night outside of a club

My first choice was probably gonna be Hyde but than I was thinking I wanted something with a little more entertainment so maybe Napoleans would be better. I've been to Chandelier bar but I prefer something with a little more activity.

My wife and I like to be social so we need a place where we can mix it up with other people

Napoleans is a great place to do just that...especially if you're willing to request songs (and tip of course).
We've even battled with other people by tipping so that they'll STOP playing a song. We usually get hammered, make some new friends, and have a good time. We haven't made it our past couple trips but they're usually packed pretty early in the night.
You can just snag up a table though without a reservation as long as one's available.
