Ok so who went to ACT on it's opening weekend? I'm curious if it really is as cool as I think it will be.

This guy did! It's pretty cool. Lookup Beacher's Madhouse in Hollywood and it's that but 10 times bigger, classier setting/furniture/layout, and performances are as off the wall as Beacher's. It'd be a great afterhours and definitely is one of those
"we don't give a fk what happens" kind of venues. Not a club. It's definitely a lounge with just a lot of tables and random groups of average girls. Fun times if you're not sober. A bit overwhelming once the performances start if you are. -

I briefly stopped by for the private Elton John party on Saturday and it was celeb heavy. People appeared to be very well off... Venetian VP's entertaining high rollers, very provacative and classy enviornment as Noah said. They have a VIP bar backstage - not sure if anyone can go back there or not, said friends of owners on Saturday. There is a bar towards the back of the main room, but I think its somewhere you'd def want a table. I heard Friday there wasn't much of a line, but they were letting people in primarily who were invited or reservations.Comment

True. Jason is the Host Manager and VP of Customer Development I believe and one of the main guys. An old friend from SanFran who was with Hard Rock for a bit and indy host before moving over is currently the Head of Promotions. Very intrigued by this venue concept and am likely going to check it out the weekend of Dec 7-9. Any idea if table service is required/recommended or if a GA experience is OK? Will be going with the wife, so bottles for just the 2 of us might be prohibitive.Upcoming Vegas Trips:

Ok went to ACT. It's insane. Not nearly as crazy as I thought it was going to be, but still crazy. Honestly I wish there were more of the stage acts and less of the just random dancing that went on. The place is small, with an upstairs that could be home to a lot of debauchery but will likely never be due to rules and regulations here in Vegas versus other cities. While I really liked this club and I will go back, I think the bottle prices are a bit high comparatively. Not sure what GA would get you or where for that matter. It was more about the individual tables versus the big dance floor. Thanks for the info...So according to LasVegasWeekly its $40m/$20f for cover. Those of you that have been is it like most clubs that if you dont have BS you dont have a place to sit?? The wife and i are planning on going the 1st weekend in December so im just trying to figure this place out.. Will keep an eye out for more info as we still have a month..next trip...
