First Timer... Need advice on clubs

Your table location depends on your minimum. Dance floor tables tend to have the highest minimums because they put you right in the middle of the action and are the best spot to meet girls. Most places have their dance floor tables roped off, but you'll have a security guard looking out for your table, so he'll let in anyone you tell him to let in. So you're in the middle of the action, but you also have your own space. Best of both worlds. Other tables may or may not be roped off or have a security guard, and some are much closer to the action than others. Just ask your host

Where is the best place to get a table in boombox room? what about 1OAK? where would you guys get tables?

For two bottles, if you're looking to be right in the center of the action, I would look at bank, 1oak, pure, moon, lavo. Might even be able to get a buy 2 get 1. Ask the hosts, but most other places worth going to will be three bottles to be right in the action. Just my opinion, but i'd rather get a dance floor table at a "tier 2" club than be stuck in the boondocks at XS or marquee.

For 1OAK you want to be in the 30s and 40s. Those are dancefloor tables and will be roped off. Talk with your host on how you can get something like that. Anywhere in the main room but the loft area by the first bar is a good location in my opinion.

Boombox room im not sure, its fairly small so i doubt there is a bad location anywhere. Again, idk where 1.5k for the boombox room is coming from, you should be able to do 1k min

When Should I contact the hosts for reservations? Couple of days before we go? the day offf? or is earlier better? Im going Oct 29th weekend.

Spyonvegas.com is a good site with all major events listed. Otherwise the websites of the clubs have events listed. Typically events are posted 1-2 weeks in advance.

When I reserve a table/BS, I dont have to pay anything or give CC info up front? I basically pay it all at the club?

How do I tip the hosts, just give him a handshake when he walks us in? and will I ever see him again during the night

Typically you pay at the club. They'll have you sign a little form on which you agree to the minimum, give them your card, then you can either close out the bill immediately or leave it open and close it at the end of the night.

Tip your host the first time you shake his hand. If you use a good host, and tip properly, they'll check up on you throughout the night and may even surprise you with a round of shots or other fun extras. Tip generously my friend...it almost always comes back to you one way or the other.

Everyone tips differently, personally i think that's too much. Then again, if you have the money and don't mind then go for it...the host will def remember you if you tip 200 for 2 bottles.

$100/bottle is a good tip. You wouldn't be frowned upon for doing less...but it's always better to be a good tipper. It pays off in many ways.
