  • Getting a song played?

Ok so with the trip coming up, just curious, is it possible to get a song played? More specifically I want PSY Gangnam Style played. Clubs we are going to are Moon, 1OAK or Haze, then Marquee. I have no problem tipping the DJ like $50 to get this song played. It's like the asian version of LMFAO party rock.

No offense man, but if they played that, I would walk out of the club if it happens. It would kill my mood. haha.

I really dont know if that would be possible. The playlist on these major clubs are already set before those DJs get to the club. I'm sure a local bar or club can do something like that. But to change up a song on the fly is not something that is common as far as I know of in a mega club.

I love that song. If you hear it and don't smile, then you are an asshole.
I bet some DJs will find a way to mix it into a remix somehow.

If you try this make sure it's with the resident DJ, but honestly you aren't at home and the DJ isn't your friend from high school.

$100,000 got Deadmau5 to play living on a prayer...so i guess anything is possible.

F that. $100,000 is enough for a down payment on a condo. I can play "Living on a Prayer" on my iPhone while I'm at the club and spend $20 on a drink to enjoy the 4 minutes and 12 seconds. $99,980 saved!!!!!

Totally agree. But if you're happy to drop 100 large just to have a song played, you're probably not counting your penny's all that closely

The song does make me smile and has a decent beat. I'm not sure it works without the video though. I'm not sure if even the house DJs at club will be very happy taking requests and if they do play it I bet they only play the hook but it's worth a shot.

Asking for requests is a big no no with DJs. You better be ridiculously hot and give the DJ a BJ after. (see what I did there? )

Not to be rude to you but if a guy I didn't know came up to me doing this dance i would probably openly laugh in his face.

Best thing to do is kill the song in your hotel room while you're pre gaming! Get a limo and let it be heard going up and down the strip. Then maybe, just maybe, you'll be sick of it and you won't want to hear it in the club! Its a win win... you hear the song and a dj doesn't take your $50 and does NOT play your song!

After seeing some of the hype around this song start to build I would be surprised if some house DJs at open format clubs aren't playing it already.

I'd actually be pissed if they played that song at a tier 1 club in Vegas. If I'm paying top dollar for a table and bottles to see a top dj I want to hear hits.
