  • Vegas in December

Planning a trip to Vegas Dec. 1st - 4th (Sat - Tues) for my 30th birthday. Was fishing for any insight, tips, "good-to-knows" for visiting Vegas at this time of year. Also, any suggestions of which club/lounge I should look into for Sunday night (turn 30 that night) for bottle service.

    Thanks!

I've been in Vegas on the 1st weekend of Dec for past 4yrs for a race event and my friends bday. Still a good time even though not the summer crowd anymore. It really only slows down a week before Christmas and picks back up a couple days before NYE.

Of course its going to be on the cooler side so some of the clubs with outdoor places wont be as packed or will be closed.

Still a great time in Vegas during that month though.

It's going to be slower, which means that you can get better deals for the clubs. Ask specifically for b1g1 or better locations.

Yea, I really wanted to run the marathon that weekend too! I've done the RnR Seattle and RnR in D.C. Thought a race would infringe on birthday celebrations! Anyway, thanks for the info, and good luck if you are running!

When you say ask for B1G1, what exactly am I asking for? Cover charge? Drinks? Planning on getting bottle service ... any advice on what I should ask for in terms of (ballpark) price for a "cheaper" bottle?

I was out there around the same time last year....I agree it's a little slower than peak times, but that's not a horrible thing. I'd shoot for buy 1, get 2 if you hit up a tier 2 club on Sun or Mon night. Just let the host know you'll "take care of them" with a nice handshake. I ended up getting 5 bottles for $1000 including gratuity + $250 handshake at Moon / PBC on a Thurs. night in early Dec last year. The staff took really good care of us so we ended up giving them an extra tip on our way out.
