Hello, i am new member here seeking some advice we have a trip planned for my birthday in November from the 14 for 5-7 days, and there will be 3 of us ages 21-24 , it is the first time for all of us going to vegas so not knowing much witch are the places that are must see/go mostly interested in the party scene as we are still young and money is not really an issue just looking for the best service do not like waiting in lines , as for music hip hop rnb top 40 etc, a day or two of gambling , shopping , nightclubs marquee i heard is the best and xs if there are better clubs please let me know, also maybe a night at the strip club any good recommendations? . any help would be appreciated, will we be needing a host as i have read through the forums it is better things can go smoothly, and hotel wise i have not found a good connecting room maybe a wrap suite would be the better choice? we are most likely staying at either the bellagio or cosmopolitan

Welcome to the Forums. I'm not a Vegas regular (been six times), so I'm sure others have different opinions and insight, but here's my thoughts.

For hotels, the Bella Suite at the Venetian is an awesome deal. 700 square feet, two queen beds and a pullout sofa in a really nice hotel for well under $250 a night, so that works out perfectly for three people.

During the day......gambling's obviously everywhere, so you'll have no trouble finding that. There's tons of shopping at Caesars, Encore/Wynn, Bellagio, The miracle mile shops at Planet hollywood. Every major hotel on the strip has shows, which are a great way to start the night.

Strip Clubs......Sapphire and Spearmint Rhino are the only two I've been to, both pretty cool. Whenever you decide to go there, call them up directly. A lot of times, especially in the afternoon or early evening when it's not nearly as packed, they'll send a car to pick you up free of charge and waive the cover charge. This probably won't work at 3 am on a Friday or Saturday when they're packed, but it never hurts to ask.

As far as nightclubs go, it really just depends on what your budget looks like and what type of night you're looking for. If you're just looking to do general admission and skip the lines, there's ways to do that at pretty much every club (guestlist, independent host, slip the bouncer or host a tip, etc.). If you're looking to do bottle service, are you looking to rage and be in the middle of the action near the dance floor at a major club? Or are you looking for a relaxed spot where you can chill and carry on a conversation without shouting? Something in the middle?

Generally, bottles of Vodka at the major clubs go for around $500, a little more or a little less depending on the club. On top of that $500, you'll also have to pay about 8% sales tax, a 20% gratuity to your cocktail waitress, and if you use a host, you should expect to tip him about $50-$100 per bottle you get, so really you can expect one bottle to cost you $700-$750 or so when all is said and done. It's a bit expensive, but everyone on this site will tell you it's worth it every now and then.

Bottom line, your budget and the type of night you're looking for will determine which clubs you should get bottle service at. When you do pick a club, book it directly through a host recommended on this site.

Elara has great room deals also. Big rooms with kitchens and separate bedrooms for a reasonable price.

Marquee and XS are the top clubs at the moment. If I were going to hit a club every night and mix it up a bit over 5 nights with your preferences in music I'd do Tao, 1OAK, Marquee, XS, and Hyde. Just know that Marquee and XS will be EDM unless you hit up the hip-hop room at Marquee. If budget isn't an issue, then definitely do bottle service every night. Total cost for bottle service for 3 guys will start around $1000/night and go up depending on what kind of table location you want.

Get a 2 bedroom suite at Cosmo.

thanks for the quick reply guys, nicke you're information is very useful , we really do not have a budget but were only going to go to the club the friday night , i was thinking taking 3-4 grand each? its not a really a budget but an assumption of how much i would need, the rest of the days casino,shows,gun range, i will have to check out rhino for sure reading alot of good reviews. and chuck cosmo is what i am mostly interested in but a little bit expensive in my mind for a hotel i believe but maybe i can work out a deal with them. how much on average do you guys spend in vegas ?

Mirage is a great spot for a more mid-range hotel. Usually spend $2000-3000 between my wife and I. Last trip we spent $3000 in one night though for her bday.

I always stay for three nights when I go. Usually two nights of bottles and either general admission or a low-key night on the third night. I've spent around $3,000 each trip (plane tickets, hotels, gambling, shows, food, clubs).

If you're only doing one night of bottles, you might as well make it one hell of a night. Just remember, the general rule of thumb is you can expect to pay 1.5 times the table minimum you get quoted when you add in tax, waitress gratuity, and tips for your host, busser, and security.

If money is truly no object, you're willing to pay for a table with a $5K minimum, and you're looking to be in the middle of the action, a dance floor table at XS or Marquee is an experience unlike anything else on the planet. If, however, you're looking to save money for retirement one day, there's still lots of clubs that can give you a night you'll never forget. Some of the other top clubs are Tao, Tryst, Surrender, Haze, 1oak, lavo, the bank, hyde, and the clubs at the palms.

Call up a host recommended on this site about two weeks out from your trip and just be direct and upfront when dealing with him. Tell him exactly what type of table location you want, and they'll be upfront with you and tell you how much it's going to cost. I can't emphasize this enough. If you just ask a host for a table, you may get a small minimum, but you could end up getting a table in a location not to your liking. But if you're specific with the host, he can tell you how much the location you're looking for will cost.

Also tell him you're a member of the JC forums and that you got his number from the forums. From time to time hosts can hook up members with a comped bottle or an upgraded table location.
