Hyde Thursday Night Questions

Heading to Vegas towards the end of the month with my wife and another couple. My friend's wife has never been to Vegas and we want to give her the full experience. One of our thoughts is to hit Hyde on Thursday night during lounge night to listen to some good music, drink and have a few tapas all while enjoying the fountains in the background. Most of us are not really into clubs and thought this would be a good compromise.
I realize that Thursday night is lounge night and it sounds as though there are no minimums at the tables. From what I have read I need to reserve a table still though. Should I do this through a host or do I do this directly through the Hyde Bellagio website? What about tipping, will the host be there to seat us and if so I suspect I will be tipping them. Or since this is an off night (no mims) do I just get seated by the establishments host and then do I tip. Anyway I can request a table with a great view of the fountains? Sorry new to this lounge thing, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used Anthony Connolly...listed on this site. He was stand up and did what he said he would do 100%. Was there on a sat just the wife and i..did table service and had a blast...good folks

On a non night club night what is the recommended tip for the Host reserving and seating you at a table?

I try to shoot for 20-30% of my minimum...$100/bottle is in the same neighborhood....if you want to build a relationship with them.
If you booked through the venue, and they just walk you to your table or whatever, give them 10% of your minimum.

Pretty sure there isnt a minimum on a non club night. I dont see why a tip is needed.

Lets get the fact right. Anthony no longer is at Hyde. Our staff is quite amazing! And on lounge nights it is free to walk in! Thursdays we have a dj and we are going to start having live music! To reserve a table on a lounge night, it is a $50 per person minimum. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Anthony is no longer on SBE's payroll, he has a contract with them, and still books tables at Hyde.
