  • HELP!!!Planning a B-day Weekend in Vegas

A group of about 6-8 of us will be in Vegas 11/9/12 to 11/13/12 staying at the Venetian. We are celebrating a birthday on Saturday 11/10. Open to any suggestions on where to go. Is using an independent promoter company for VIP entrance and bottle service and host/table tip better than contacting the club's host directly? Which of the 2 will get you a better deal? And if an independent promoter is the route...who would you recommend? PLEASE HELP!

    Sincerely,
    Chicago-Girl-Looking-Forward-to-Vegas!

Whoa....calm down....you've got plenty of time and have come to the right place.
There are plenty of helpful folks on here that will guarantee you and your friends have a great time and don't get ripped off.

    1. Don't use an independent host for anything. You'll have a phone full of contacts here shortly

So, what kind of music are you and your friends looking for? Or do you just want the best parties?
    Is the group all girls?
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Now that I read my post I do sound stressed. LOL I'm calm now...thanks to you. It will be 5 girls and 2-3 guys, ranging from 25 to 35. As far as music, we like anything top 40 and house, but are definitely looking for the best party. I was kind of skeptical about the independent hosts, but then I came upon this website and have read many responses about people getting good and reliable contact info. Ive also read plenty of stories of people showing up at the club and losing their table to someone else and I do not want this happening. Thanks for your help!

I would not stress too much about losing your table to someone else - it has not happened to me yet! When working with your host they will tell you what time to show up. I've always shown up when they told me to and never had a problem. If they tell you to show up at 11 and you don't get there until 12:30.......yeah they might not hold your table!

What kind of factors are important to you? Music? Party type (raging, more chill)? What is your budget?

I'd suggest a good mix of mega clubs and smaller, more intimate venues. Assuming you won't do bottle service every night, do presales or guest list on Friday and Saturday, then do bottle service on Sunday and/or Monday. You will get a lower minimum and better table location on Sunday and Monday. Something like this would be cool...

Friday - Hyde (smaller, cool way to do your first night behind the fountains)
            Saturday - XS or Tryst
Sunday - The Bank with bottle service
Monday - Marquee with bottle service

Do a nice dinner and a limo charter on whatever night the birthday falls on. Pregaming in a limo is blast and totally VEGAS!
Use Presidential for all your limo needs...they rock.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.
