I usually rock Steve Madden dress shoes or the driver/moccasin shoe. Always with a Dr. Scholl's insert. Gellin like a felon

        Zuriicks.

Emy, you probably get a free drink for every inch of stiletto, so it evens out...

Driving moccasins have been my shoe of choice for going out. They're really comfortable, classy, and simple. Sneakers like creative recs and chucks are nice too, but you always have that chance of being given a hard time. Although, those odds decrease if you're getting a table. This is one thing I like about partying in Hollywood, they've become a lot more lenient with their dress code.

I recently been going out to Hollywood and Dtown LA after a long hiatus. Im so used to being Vegas dress code that when I went to a couple clubs this past Aug, everyone was so casual. I was surprised. LOL.

You'll see guys in the clubs dressed like they were just at a pool party. Whenever I go somewhere outside of Hollywood I tend to feel overdressed LOL.

I always spend a bit more on dress shoes for the comfort factor.. Ecco shoes are my go to; take those babies to the Nordstrom shoe shine right before we leave. Throws on a nice shine AND protects against all the crap your shoes are going to come in contact with.

Also Creative Recs are awesome. I was pissed i missed out on that coupon a couple months back.

Last time at Calvin Harris @ XS, I just took my shoes and socks off, rolled up my slacks and partied on the shore of the pool... There were a dozen or so guys who took dives into the pull in full dress clothes, crazy, then again it was 100+ degrees at night in August.

Right! Serious! Man up! Do you see the girls being like ughhh can I wear flip flops or flats to the club, after walking the strip all day and drinking I don't want to wear my stilettos.

I personally think most guys are too underdressed for vegas, maybe that's fine for your home town but step your game up.

I just bought new Hugo Boss wingtips...my bank account is hurting right now but they are fucking classy!
Only someone like Wonder Woman has a strong enough uterus to carry his kid. The only way he could bang regular chicks is with a kryptonite condom. That would kill him!

Exactly! Why would you want to wear anything but dress shoes.... Will look very out of place wearing decent threads only to couple them with sh*tty shoes. Invest in a decent pair because really they are an investment and should last a bunch of years if looked after well.

lol I love how this thread took off! Ladies, I do feel for you and the shoes you have to wear. I'll be the first to say thank you, you almost alway look amazing! And no, you don't have to ONLY wear dress shoes! There are fashionable alternatives that look great depending on the style you sport. There is nothing wrong with jeans, shirt & tie with a vest and dress shoes... but... ITS EVERYWHERE!!! All I originally was asking was, IF you wanted an alternative what would it be?

It all depends on how much you go out. I wear dress shoes only if its special ocassions now. Every other time im out you'll see me in creative recs. People forget that its very easy to get scuffs, scratches and stains on shoes. Much easier to clean my sneakers than it is to clean/repair expensive dress shoes.
