  • Itenerary Advice Bach Party 913-9/17

Headed to vegas from 9/13-9/17 with about 10-12 guys ages early 30s to early 40s. Staying at the Venetian and I am repsonsible for having a rough draft of what we should do. I've put my ideas below and would welcome criticism/advice.

Thurs - Just 2 of us in town that night, fly in around 530pm, so by 8PM prob ready to go. With just me and my bud, prob will hit the tables but any ideas on what we can do? maybe a table for just us at Tao or is that just hrowing money away?

Friday (day) - just hang by the standard Venetian pool. Rest of the group gets in from 10am-3pm on Fri.

Friday night - think we hit Spearmint for a few hours and then head to a either Chateau where we can get a decent deal or an ultra lounge like V for our "second tier" bottle service approach. The ULs sound great so I think Spearmint VIP + follow up at V would be a good time for 10-12 late 30s on average? Chaeteau looks cool esp if u can get a table on the balcony.

Sat (day) - same as Fri day

Sat night - I would like to do XS but this is a budget conscious group so we'll prob do the "good" dinner w/everyone Sat night and then I'd like to hit a good spot up. Ghost bar or any other UL recommendations?

Sun (day) - same as other days

Sunday night - prob a free for all, just do your own thing.

That's it for the most part. Basically I think we'll have two good nights with the entire group - Fri/Sat - which would include a nudie + a decent club or UL. Thoughts/suggestions appreciated. Some of us may break off on Sat night so if it's a group of say 3-5, would XS be a good choice or any others? I loved XS the one time i went there for tbottle service in 2010..heaven. but i know its pricey.

It's interesting that you have the same exact itinerary as we do because I had to help plan for a bachelor party exactly two weeks after you're there (9/27 to 10/1).

I like your whole plan. Thursday night, in my opinion, if it's just two of you, I would just do general admission for TAO, especially if you are guests of the hotel (from my understanding, you get tickets for entry because you're staying at the Venetian). However if you have the money to drop for bottle service, why not? You only live once.

I hear different things about Chateau, but if you can get a great deal for a table, then go for it. For a group as big as yours (which is similar to the group I'm going with), people have suggested hitting up 1OAK at the Mirage for awesome service and great music (unless your group is into house/dance; my group is into Top 40/Hip-hop which is what 1OAK plays). And also, I would go to the club first then go to the strip club, but that's just me.

Try to hit up a pool party if you can. Tao Beach is always fun, so is Wet Republic (MGM Grand), and you can't go wrong with Encore Beach Club (Wynn/Encore). I still haven't been to Marquee Day Club (I will be there during Labor Day so I'll report back), but people always say it's a great time out, too.

For a "good" dinner, there are millions of options, especially if you're a budget conscious group. My group came up with a few places: Stack (American cuisine - $20 to $40/plate) at Mirage, Burger Bar (gourmet cooked to order hamburgers - $11 to $30/plate) at Mandalay Bay, ISLA Mexican Kitchen (Mexican - $10 to $30/plate) at Treasure Island, and Maggiano's Little Italy (Italian - $9 to $30/plate) at Fashion Show Mall.

Our Saturday night will consist of hitting up LAVO. We're being taken care of by Mr. Robert Chiti ([email protected]), and I suggest that club because LAVO has been consistent in atmosphere, crowd, and music (maybe I'm just being bias).

Overall, I like your plans, they are very solid. Good luck with that weekend, I hope you, the rest of the guys, and especially the bachelor, have a blast. YES!

Thanks for the advice. Not sure what the plan on Thurs night is yet. My buddy thinks bottle at Tao would not be worth it but depends on how the gambling goes beforehand I guess. My understanding with the VIP passes is that it just gets you past the line and all but then you're still stuck in a club w/no place to really chill. Let me know if I am wrong but I feel as 30 something y/o guys at the Venetian we're really not going to get much pull. We may also check out the Bourbon Room too, wouldn't mind finding some clubs/lounges with some cougars around haha.

For Tao Beach or any day pool, is that worth the cost in your opinion? getting a day bed, etc on a Fri or Sat? We have close to half the guys being single/divorced so putting them in a position to mingle or set the stage for a later hook up is what they are after

Hit up Chris Traer for a daybed at Tao Beach on Fri or Sat. It will be worth it and cost less than u prob expect. As always...mention you're a JC member when you book.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I would definitely do a daybed at Tao Beach. It's true what Chuck says, the price will be WORTH IT.

Just keep in mind that in Vegas, it's a lot easier to talk to women (in my opinion anyways). Your friends should have no problem walking up to random women, saying something interesting (anything that you think is cool--I usually go up to random women and tell them they look like they're into NASCAR and their fave driver is Jimmie Johnson or Kyle Busch; they either go with it or tell you a sport they like or whatever they're into--just remember that women get compliments about how they look all the time so don't do it), and grab the digits for a meetup later. Simple formula for amazing rewards!!!!!

Good luck to you and your bros!

+1 for shelling a few bucks to do TB on the Friday. You wont regret it.

FYI, if you're still thinking of doing XS on Saturday (or Friday), it will be a clusterfuck - Saturday is Tiesto and Friday is Avicii that weekend.
