It killed flashing at Mardi Gras. It killed flashing at NASCAR races and Triple Crown horse races. And it is going to put a big damper on Vegas. The latest incident with Prince Harry at XS is a prime example. I know Vegas made that commercial trying to discourage picture taking and sharing via Social Media and the net, but that obviously did not solve the problem.

I don't see how this problem can be fixed. Historically Vegas seems to find a way to solve just about every challenge imaginable, but I just don't see how to fix this one. People are not going to be willing to let their hair down (so to speak) when they know their pic is going to be splattered all over the net. ANd what is the point in coming to Vegas if you can't let loose.

    This situation really sucks.

What add are you talking about? Celebrity gotchas don't affect how I party at all.

I'm not concerned about the celebs either (that was just an example). I am worried about me. If you have no problem w/ everything you do in Vegas being seen by your friends, family, co-workers, Employer, spouse and/or significant other, we party differently (and may be in different life/career situations). But I suspect more people do have this concern than do not.

What is frustrating is that a lot of the same people who don't want their actions spread via Social Media do the spreading of pics of others.

This all seems a bit like full on panic mode to me. If youre going to Vegas to cheat on a spouse or do mass amounts of blow and youre afraid of it on social media, I could give a shit less if your caught. Not speaking to Spock specifically, but in general. There is no possible way I wouldnt be able to let loose Vegas because of twitter

If you have something to hide or your worried about your privacy, then thats your own personal issue. There's going to be tons of people who dont give a F about theirs so they'll do the crazy stuff anyway. Not gonna change anything.

I personally dont check in all the time in Vegas on FB or post too many pictures of certain things. I pick and choose. I know people judge you out there so I'm not putting up Vegas pics ever month. I'll check in every other time I'm in Vegas but I dont do it at every place I stop at. People are judgemental and I know what theyre thinking if they see me at Marquee every month. LOL.

Social Media and all that doesnt affect how I party or act in Vegas. If Spyonvegas or any of those photographers walking around the club to take pictures, I opt out of them and walk away. Simple as that.

I'm not travelling half way across the world to enjoy some of the best night clubs / pool parties in the world, not to have any photographic evidence of the amazing time that all my friends at home are missing out on. If I get in a ridiculous state - so be it.

That is a good point. Im not traveling half way acroos the U.S. and not taking a few photos along the way. I mean it is Vegas and people are on vacay so cameras should be a part of the experience.

A lot of my coworkers and some relatives are demanding TONS of pics of the 3 D's (dancin', drinkin', debauchery) of my week and I flat out warned 'em, "Ok, but I make no guarantees the pics are gonna be Kev-weiner free." It's Vegas, we're partyin'...hard. Someone's junk might show up. Jussayin' Can't be shy in Vegas, bring your A-game

Lol! I was going to post that unless your wiener is hanging out in your pics than you shouldn't have too much to worry about...then I read your post! Only thing I don't want pictures of is whoever I decided to bring back to my room, only thing I need to remember is that I was drunk and she was hot...at that point.

The only thing I can suggest about that is to not act like a clown/douchebag in Las Vegas. There's a way to have fun there without looking like a tool. Some friends I've gone with have gone out of their way to try to embarass others so to deal with that, I get them back in kind and then they shut up.

Really, it's all about how you handle yourself. There's no one to blame for their own actions but themselves.
