How bad am I screwed? No Driver License...

I leave next thursday for a 5 nighter. I just realized last night that My D.L. has gone missing in action. D.M.V. issued me a paper temp license. No way I can get a replacement by then. No passport so that is not an option.

I do have the temp paper license and a old expired D.L. From a few days back (different state)

I know its going to be an issue... But is it going to be a major one?

I really hope not for your sake, but I have seen/heard some horror stories about people without i.d. I am sure a host on here can better answer it.

The more I think of it... Its just going to come down to the person who has to decide. I'm 30 and look my age...So I hope that helps. Gambling is going to be an issue. Especially if I win big lol. I need to call my Hotel and see if checking in is going to be a problem. If it is...Then everything else will be too.

I've seen people get in with an expired ID and the temp paper slip. as long as all the info matches and it looks like you lol.

ya just get a good print out of the temporary slip. Also an expired ID is better than no ID.

unless someone knows you well at the club, more than likely you will not get in. get an ID card, or have a passport rushed.

note: unless, you OBVIOUSLY look above age i wouldn't chance it.

ohh, i didn't read the expired license part. the only clubs you MAY have trouble with are Wynn clubs.

DEFINITELY just go down and get an overnighted passport. I think its like an extra $100 which is nothing in comparison. All your worries = gone! DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!

It's funny that you mention the airport. I had my wallet stolen at Town Square while shopping and I was really nervous about the flight home and if I would be able to get on the plane. The only thing I had on me was a business card and TSA totally let me through - no hassle at all. Didn't even search my bags. Quite distrubing actually about how loose it all was. Note to terrorists: all you need is a business card.

Luckily I am 3 hours frOm lv so airport is not an issue. With work I have no time for a passport. Just gonna chance it I guess. I'm going to make a couple calls and see what people say.

It only takes about 20 minutes... i'm sure you can spare that time from work to just go get it done. Do you really wanna be inching toward the front of a line just to be shutdown?? make it happen, son.

tell them of the urgence of the matter and see if they can book you in asap. stop by a walmart tonight, you can do your passport photos there.
