  • Seeking advice to economize table service bill for large (15-20 folks) group

I'm coming to Vegas Aug. 23-26 for a wedding. Wedding is at Wynn and everyone is staying there too. There will be at least two nights of clubbing, starting on Thursday the 23rd, when I am organizing a visit to Tryst. Guys and girls will start the evening separately (for quasi bachelor/bachelorette parties) then the plan is to unite a Tryst at around midnight/12:30am. We'll have 15-20 people who would need to get into Tryst, I am assuming that I can't get all those people in by reserving just one table (right?). To reserve a late table would put the min to $2k (per a Tryst host's quote). This price is fine if I reserve one table but I'm concerned that some in the crew will balk at forking over the funds required for a $4k min, so I am looking for alternatives. Are my assumptions incorrect? Do you think I could get one table, fill it with guys, and get line passes for the girls? If so, I think the cost per person would go way down, but is doing this possible or a bad idea? Thanks in advance for any advice!

with a 2k minimum, you will not have a table by 1230. tryst on a thursday is normally fully sat by midnight. the only way to get a table held past that is if you do a $3000-$4000 minimum on the dance floor and promise a tip of $500. i use to work there and would look forward to midnight because i knew i would get cut after the club was sat lol.

Anthony- Interesting, so even if a host tells me he'd hold the table, I shouldn't count on it?

This is where an independent service comes in. Use Red Carpet VIP and they will keep your table regardless of the time...

Yeah they told me that they oay for the table before the club opens so it can't be resold. Any way you can do this yourself?
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.
