LDW without any plans?

im going to vegas with a particularly flaky crew. can't make a decision on anything. having said that, some nites i feel like im gonna be headin out solo or with only 1 or 2 other ppl tops. theres no way im wasting my days/nights in vegas. if i have nothing concrete goin into the weekend am I screwed? can i just call a host last minute and get something done for either nite or day venues?

I would get the 1 or 2 non-flaky folks to get pre-sales at least the week of and tell the others good luck

Just make plans already. I guess you're not doing BS so buy some tickets now. Talk to the most reliable friend of the group and buy them a ticket too. Leave the others behind. They're wasting your time.

thats the thing i want to do BS. the concern is the availability of tables last minute. im wondering if im gonna get punished on the pricing end too.

Okay, then do this and most of us won't mind. Hitup the host for whichever venue and say "Here's the deal, I want to go ahead and book bottle service for whatever night at whatever budget for LDW. It's 80% sure, but I know this is what we want. I will note that a few people might flake last minute, but can you please lock it in for me and I'll keep you updated closer to the date if anything changes."

Nothing about any of that will make any of us upset or not book you. It's no issue to remove the reservation a day or 2 in advance, because trust me when I say they're will be a massive waiting list and tons of walkup groups banging down the door and offering double the minimum just to get a spot last minute on the 2nd busiest weekend of the year at all the Tier 1 venues.

If people are flaky, their loss, they're not being good friends....you shouldn't feel bad for making plans so your trip doesn't suck

If you're looking to get BS then I would definitely make reservations. If anything at least for you and your 1-2 non-flaky friends. You don't have to have a full itinerary planned out for every hour of every day but have one thing you really want to do set in stone.
