Just want to double check dont want to get a table there and be hidden in some corner after dropping a good amount of money.

Pool area gets great reviews. Many prefer it over the lower end inside tabkes.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Pool is great. I've never seen a night at Marquee where the pool area is boring. I'd only ever avoid library and the tables along the side balcony (not sure what this area is called... anyone?) if you don't want to be away from the action.

I got a 'table' by the pool, only it was more of a giant cushion thing and wasn't all that comfy. That said it was a 1 bottle table on a busy night and was a pretty good people-watching spot.
Only someone like Wonder Woman has a strong enough uterus to carry his kid. The only way he could bang regular chicks is with a kryptonite condom. That would kill him!

            hustlers..

Reserved patio for 4 people for 1K. Got there at 10:15 for the patio table check in. The table line is 2 miles long. the hosts kept grabbing the big groups. by the time our turn came, no more patio and only library left for $1500.

If this happened to me, you can bet your ass I will be posting immediately on here the name of who failed to deliver. If it was not the person on the host list, I would then hit him/her up and explain the situation.

It happens on very busy nights. It sucks that they do, but Marquee is where everyone wants to be. I dont know how it can be prevented since I am not a host. I know this isnt something a patron should be doing, but knowing that this can happen. 1. get there early. 2. make sure your hosts know that you are serious and your relying on them to make this happen and not get bumped.

I'm making assumptions here so correct me if I'm wrong. I would think that they either overbook or book close to capacity of their available tables. Its like booking flights on a plane, sometimes it gets overbooked and some have to get bumped and put on standby.
I would think that of lets say 100 tables available that people call for, there are 20 that will flake and wont show up. At the same time, there are enough groups that are willing to take the place of those tables that people flaked on and more. So it tends to get overbooked and some people get bumped out. Also, when there is supply and demand, the prices go up. If someones willing to take the tables for a 50% increase, its no brainer that the person making a living as a host wont turn down an additional several thousand in sales for the club and potential tips for the host.

On a busy night, $1k is chump change for Marquee. I've been in Marquee at least 15 times since its opened and theres hardly a night that theyre not filling tables when the whole place is open. Basically what I'm saying is it sucks balls when tables are given away, but thats the name of the game and it is something that can possibly happen.

1k is pretty rare for guaranteed patio. my guess is you were promised something that wasnt available. This past weekend a similar situation happened where I booked a table for a lower then standard minimum but whne the group arrived all the discounted tables were already seated and too many guys arrived with the group so there was nothing I could do. It does happen when you're booking a deal or discount on a busy day/night. There's only a handful of spots they'll seat those and they go quick which is why we'll say I can do it for this but this is what the standard is to guarantee.

Did you actually book through a host or just reserve through the website or venue? If the line was that long at 10:15 I'm surprised your host didn't text you earlier and tell that you needed to get there early 'cause it was getting crazy.
