How would you guys play this situation ....

Bottle service for a Bachelor / Bachelorette party with 15 people (7 guys and 8 girls).... none of the girls take much booze to get drunk and I would image most of the guys will be fairly boozed up from the day already.

Option 1 - Contact host and say we have 15 people, get a ~5 bottle/~$3000 min and go from there

Option 2 - Put the 7 guys on for bottle service and get a ~3 bottle / ~$1800 min and have the girls go guestlist and meet up with us

Option 3 - Put the girls down for bottle service... I imagine 8 girls there would be a ~3 bottle / ~$1800 min but they're more likely to get B1G1, B2G1, etc type of deals then 7 guys would. Then guestlist the guys and get there early using the "free bottle" money to grease the doorman to avoid the wait ($80-$100 per guy)..... and then any other free bottles or deals would just be icing on the cake after that.


Any thoughts on which way might work the best?

Hey SKN, hope you're doing well.

My 2c is that if its a host you have a relationship with, I'd just be straight up with them and see what's the best way they can work it for you. At the end of the day though, even if you negotiate a 3 bottle deal, that doesn't go far between 15, even considering pre-gaming, girls in the group etc.. you don't need me telling you how quickly a couple bottles empty when everyone is in party mode!

Honestly pretty opened .... something tier 1 or 2 but beyond that nobody is too picky.

I'm going to be getting married and the easiest way to talk the future Mrs. into letting me have the Vegas bachelor party was to suggest a joint/group one. One of the nights I plan on treating everyone to bottle service for making the trip out with us... I really don't want to spend over 3k for everything (if I don't have to).... so I'm just kicking around possible ways to get everyone in, their thirsts quenched, and having a good time while I keep some strip club money.

For sure.... based on the group I think the girls would be more than good with two bottles and then another two bottles should about take care of the guys... I'm thinking 4 or 5 bottles would be enough, but if I'm only required to buy three it would be a little piece of mind for me.

Have you thought about booking two tables? Let the girls book a Bachelorette package which will be a much lower minimum, then you guys book a table of 7. Even if your tables aren't side-by-side it wouldn't matter, may be better actually. I know most of the clubs offer good deals for Bachette parties.

That was the first thought but most of the group won't be sitting any longer than to top off a drink or slight rest between dancing sessions.

The girls are all big dancers and all but two of the guys will be out dancing most of the night... can't imagine there will be much sitting at all.... that why I figured to try and use the bachelorette ladies to get a better deal for everyone... unless that is skeezy and frowned upon.

I don't think it's sneaky...it is what it is. If you're not at all concerned with table space then you may as well let the ladies book the table and the guys go presales. That will probably be the cheapest.

Option 2 is good. It also depends on what venue you go to. Every venue works a little differently. For example at Hyde they normal want 1 bottle for every 4 people.

By the time of the wedding it'll actually be a four year engagement.... yikes, it sounds way worse typing that out.
... she had to stay a "Miss" due to competing in Miss America Organization pageants over the last few years to help pay for school, she just hit 24 years old and aged out so we can finally get the wedding over with. I pushed very very hard for a Vegas wedding but she wasn't feeling it.... but a Vegas bachelor party is happening so I'll survive.

Thanks Noah / Andrew for chiming in as hosts... I just didn't want to go about the situation in a skeezy way and try and "Bend" rules... especially since as drunk as I plan on being just smelling my breathe would get most of the ladies drunk; having to buy bottles for a 14+ person min would have been waaaay overkill.

It also depends on what venue you go to. Every venue works a little differently.

I'm really easy as far as where we are... I've never had a bad time at any tier 1 or tier 2 club so I wouldn't expect that to start now... I'm using the 3 people = 1 bottle just to be conservative on my estimates.
