Hip Hop clubs on Fri/Sat night?

Last year we were out there we hit up Jet and it was cool, decent crowd.
We're going as a larger group, probably be about 7 guys and 5 girls, not big on house/trance music or dub step.
We'll be out there around midnight tomorrow so won't be clubbing til Friday & Saturday night.
What clubs should we look into, and if necessary, we will probably do BS just to ensure our large group gets in.

Eric D-Lux (DJ on Power 106 in LA) spins at Pure every Friday night. I've never been to 1OAK but believe some mentioned on this site that they have an room just for hip hop. LAX also plays mostly hip hop. Tao (Opuim Room) and Marquee (Boom Box Room) also play hip hop.

Not looking to rub elbows with celebs or trust fund babies, someplace an average 9-5er can spend some extra cash without feeling like a cheap ass for not throwing money around like a fool.

Most club goers ARE avg Joes pretending to be trust fund babies and "vips". Dont worry about them. Find a place with good music, and good service, go with good friends and a good attitude and you'll have a good time.

+1 ... I've met garbage men (literally) and a guy that owns his own chain of tax return businesses... and they were all cool... nobody cares how much you spend, it's how you interact!

We play hiphop at chateau . we play hip hop in the main room and house and top 40 on the rooftop and patio. we have DJ clue this saturday and Big sean next friday. If you want guest list or a table let me know

I was at Chateau 2 Saturdays ago. The music was almost all hip hop in the main room. Good crowd.
