Clubs advice/questions about guest lists

Hi all,

I am sure these types of questions get posted ALL the time, so here comes another lol. I am going to vegas for my birthday, Aug 17-20th (fri-mon), with 2 other girls and I wanted to know the best clubs to go to. I'm thinking something a bit more low-key for fri night after traveling all day, and then whatever is good on sat and sun. Sunday is my bday. I like hip-hop, top 40, etc., anything really but I don't want to listen to techno/house all night.

My other question is about the guests lists to whichever clubs you all suggest-- how far in advance do I need to contact the hosts? And is it pretty much guaranteed that we will get in free by doing so? Thanks so much! I'm just so confused! I live in Miami so I know the south beach club seen well, but vegas seems to be completely different!

Friday night try Gold at Aria, MIX at Mandalay, or Ghostbar at Palms. Saturday you coul do 1OAK, Rain, u or Pure. Sunday start off at Hyde for some small plates and a couple drinks behind the fountains then head to Lavo or The Bank.

Awesome, thanks. And what about the guest lists at these places? Do I need to contact the hosts on here and get on them? Is it as simple as just telling them when I'm coming and would like to be put on the list?

Just contact the hosts a week an advance and ask if you can get on they're guest list for the night you want to go. Let them know your group size and ratio. I recommend Chad Noyes and Joey Orr and Anthony Connely for their respective venues. Check out the link below for contact info.

Ok thanks. Just one more question, for the friday night places that you suggested, are those all lounges? How's the crowd there?

Ghostbar is actually a pretty decent place when I went back in January but the only problem is that it's at Palms and if you're staying on the strip it's a tiny bit of a hassle...Well for 3 drunk guys it was.

+1 on ghostbar. good hip hop music and good atmosphere. call me old fashion, but I always hit that place up each trip.

Yeah I am staying on the strip and was thinking about that too. How is gold or mix? Or any other recommendations for fri night? Thanks!
