  • Second-Tier Bottle Service Clubs?

Hey everyone, first time poster here. I've been to vegas every year since 2002-2010 and in 2010 had a great time at XS (table by the pool but more importantly lucky at the black jack tables). Anyways, heading back Sept 13-17 with a group of 10-14 guys early to late 30s for a bach party with people of varying financial means and inclination to spend. We're staying at the Venetian.

From what I've seen most of the better places like Tao are about 450-500/3 guys for an entry level spot before 8.1% tax and 20% tip so all-in you're talking $180-200 per person for an entry level spot and that excludes any special tipping to your host, waitress, etc.

The overall game plan is to do 1 bottle service night with all 10-14 guys and if the price is too high for most to swing, the bach still wants to try to do something with the entire group. Most of the posts I've reviewed on JC cover really top notch places but are there any good deals, like maybe $100-150 per person all-in (taxes + gratuity) at some second tier casinos like say the Paris?

Try getting a Buy 3 get 2 deal at 1OAK. That would be around $1800 all in. Contact Joey Orr.

You could try for the same at Pure, Rain, or Chateau.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I am not sure if you want it to be a "nightclub" or not , but some of the ultra lounges can be very fun at a very low per person rate. Great example would be Gold lounge.

Thanks for the contact and suggestions. I was in town in 2010 and we did XS on Sat night and actually did Pure on Fri and I can't recall how much we paid for Pure but heard it was a deal. I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will check out some of the UL's as well. They seem more laid back which is great. I think what we want is good eye candy overall so I think that is why the traditional nightclub is what we're looking for but if UL's have good eye candy and it's more laid back it could be even more fun. To me XS was the best experience i ever had so it will be tough to top that. I have been to Pure, LAX, body english when it used to be around at the hard rock, but man XS was just unreal but will prob be the most expensive.

Starting your bottle service and nightclub experience at XS is like your first job in life is being the President. It is amazing how UL's run these days though. I mean theyre basically small clubs. Tables, dance floor, and hot girls. I say that knowing full well they ARE NOT the same as a tier 1 club.

XS was just insane. I have been at other clubs with bottle service but never felt it was all that big a deal. I used to work/live in nYC so did a few of those things there and it was always a "whatever" type of thing, mostly convenience to bypass any waiting period in line and also have a place to actually sit, I hate standing forever. So in most cases, the bottle service was cool but nothing that I found spectacular but XS was just unreal, the casino by the pool, the pool itself, design of the place, etc. were great. But either way, yeah with XS you can only go down from there.

The ULs sound great. What makes them lesser than a tier 1 club though? like the bond lounge for example looks cool, why is that "lesser" than another tier 1 club. Also are ULs more appropriate for 30 somethings? Our group is looking to just hang with good eye candy and mingle here and there.

UL's can be very fun depending on what you're looking for

Tier 1 megaclubs aren't necessarily better just different

At UL's you have an older more relaxed crowd and you can actually hear the person next to you

Mega tier 1's like XS are huge and get very crowded....very fun if you're trying to rage and see a lot of hot women. Not as fun if you're relatively sober and don't have a table

Vegas is what you make of it. You can always have a good time if you have the right group and one of the following
                  1) lots of attractive women
                  2) good music

Obviously it's preferable to have both but I"ve had great nights with only one...just have to find the diamonds in the rough for the former and get really drunk for the latter

We usually try to designate one night for an ultra lounge. Plus it is a little easier on the wallet usually.

Thanks for your take on UL v the megaclubs. It sounds like actually a UL could be really cool. are the best ULs typically at the places with the best clubs?

I am really considering this route one night when I go in Sept. It almost seems like u HAVE to have a table at ultra lounge. Which are the top ones u recommend? Blush(?) I think was cool but its closed I think.

I would think the best are Gold, Cathouse and Ghostbar(because I wouldnt call them clubs really), and I am not sure about Tabu but I am guessing that would work as well.
