Is this a good deal for Chateau?

I got quoted $3400 for 25 people. What would be a good location for that large of a group? I should mention that is for a Saturday night in October.

Doesn't look that good to me, but I've never been to Chateau. The reason I say that, though, is you can go on Vegas.com (checked for a Sat. in Oct.) and book a table for up to 15 people for $1000, and it says that includes 3 bottles of Belvedere. So you could do 2 of those deals, have 5 people to spare, have 6 bottles of Belevedere, and only be at $2000. Of course, I have no idea what kind of location that gets you.

I should add that it looks like doing 3 of the $600 deals is better than the $1000 deal because you still get up to 30 in and still have 6 bottles of Belvedere for only $1800.

Word on these forums is that the vegas.com deals are suspect. There is no tax or tip included. I'm quoting with tips and tax and I can choose the tables... Which is why I wanted suggestions on location.

The site says tax is included, but not gratuity. Just was commenting based on your headline question of whether it was a good deal. Sorry, can't help you out with location; but if location is that important and you get to pick your table, hard to complain about $136 pp.

I am not a fan of Chateau. I was there on a Friday night and the crowd was a little scary. The inside was packed and it was impossible to get anywhere in, around, through the dance floor. I don't mind squeezing by good looking people but sweaty, not-attractive ones.... no thanks. The patio does have a great view, but depending on when you are there, it can be pretty hot! And there is not a dance floor out there, but music is playing.

I guess it just depends on what you all are looking for. If you want a place for all of you to chill, talk, drink with a good view and you don't mind the lack of a dancefloor or A/C, then I'd suggest the patio there. If you guys bring the party, then this could be a great spot on the strip. If you are looking for a place to get crazy on the dance floor or mingle with other people, I'd suggest somewhere else.

Had table at chateau this last weekend and had a great time! Club is overlooked a lot in my opinion. Hosts/waitresses and all other staff were great.
