2 guys - Aug 3-7th and 10th - Planning advice

Hey everyone- I'm heading to Vegas with a buddy of mine from Fri, August 3rd - Tue, August 7th and then will be back for the night on Fri, August 10th.

We'll be arriving at 6PM or so on the first Friday (the 3rd), and around 3PM on the 10th. Still debating between a few hotels for the first weekend, but we're staying at the Cosmo on the night of the 10th.

We're hoping to hit up a bunch of different clubs/pool parties throughout, but the fact that there are only 2 of us makes things a bit tough as far as bottle service goes. We'd like to keep it between 2k and 3k for the weekend for entertainment.

Do you have any advice on how to make this all happen while also staying within (or around) our price budget? Is it better to do bottles/presale tickets, or try our luck getting to the door early since there are only 2 of us? Our main concern is entry into the clubs, but would still like to do bottle service if possible.

At this point we'd definitely like to check out xs, Marquee, and Rehab, but any recommendations on which clubs/pool parties to go, and on which day/night would be greatly appreciated.

If you're in to EDM, I would check out either Avicii at XS or Calvin Harris at Surrender on Friday night....get pre-sale through Wantickets. With your budget, bottle service may be out of the question for these acts. Then, I'd check out Nicky Romero on Sat night at Marquee. If you didn't see Calvin Harris Friday, then he plays at EBC on Sunday, definitely worth checking out. Again, pre-sale is available for all of these.

EDM is my scene so I can't really comment on where to go if it's not yours, but hopefully this gets you started.

Yeah go presales for the tier 1 clubs. If you want the bottle service experience work in a tier 2 and/or link up with another group on the get connected thread. You can probably get a 1 bottle at XS on Sunday night or Marquee on Monday night.

Friday night - Presales for Surrender (Calvin Harris) = $100 plus drinks = $200 total
Saturday Night - 1 bottle min for 1OAK = $800 total (including tax/tip)
Sunday Night - Goose/Moet deal at XS nightswim = $900 total (including tax/tip)
Monday Night - 1 bottle min for Marquee = $700 (including tax/tip)
GRAND TOTAL = $2600

That leaves you a little room in your budget IF you can pull off those minimums for sat-monday. Just ask the hosts if they can make that work. You could throw in 1 more night of presales if you need to spread your money out or can't land one of those minimums. That would be my plan A anyway.

Thanks for the recommendations so far! I definitely like the idea of a mix between presales and bottle service like you guys suggested. We're into both EDM as well as Hip/Hop and Top 40...less concerned about the music genre than we are about making sure we go to all of the best places that we can afford.

A couple questions to add...

If we have the presale tickets, is it guaranteed entry into the club? Also, do you have the hosts' contact info, or is it best to search through the forum?
Any recommendations as far as dayclubs or pool parties for that weekend?

Pre-sale is guaranteed entry into the club (pretty positive at least). Even on a busy night, you'll wait FAR less than the GA line if you do pre-sale.
