  • Servers for bottle service........

On my last 2 trips to Vegas, I have done bottle service a couple times. Now I havent done it at the top tier places because, well, my friends and I have bills to pay...... kids and shit like that.

But after both these times, we have noticed that we only saw our server when we first sat down and she poured us a round. Actually, at one of the clubs, I did signal for a server when I wanted to order a 3rd bottle and she came around then. I saw the dudes that pick up the empty glasses more than I saw the servers. Security was great....... even had our own bathroom that they locked and unlocked as we needed at one place, but the servers........

So, why am I tipping these chicks well at the beginning of the night? We end up making our own drinks all night. Shit, I prefer to make my own drinks anyway. Is it different at top tier clubs? Is the service really any better? Or do we just pay this to keep hot chicks from dancing on the pole for a living?

At Tao our server was at our table about 75% of the night. Sometimes just hangin out dancing or chattin people up.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I've had the same experience at Wet Republic, EBC, Surrender, and Tao...servers were very attentive and with us most of the day/night. Fetching whatever we needed and like Chuck said, also just chilled with us.

Yeah it happens often. That is why when I find a server I like I always request them....also this is why it's usually smart to tip half way or at the end of the night.

It can be hit or miss at these night spots I've found. Last trip we saw our server when we were first seated, and then apparently her shift ended and we had a new server who we saw maybe twice the rest of the night. Trip before last we had an awesome server at the same place. I feel like the daytime servers put in way better effort.

The server that my friends and I had at Tao was great. She was there dancing and hanging out around the table. When she saw someone reaching to pour a drink, she wouldn't let them. She would take over and make sure that everyone without a drink had one. I noticed the same thing with the servers we had at Surrender with the guys we met. They were having fun and made sure everyone else was as well.

It can be hit or miss. My serverat Marquee had a lot of tables and was not around as much as I would like. At Hyde, I tipped my server20 dollars when we first walked in, and 30 dollars an hour later. She was at our table for over 70 percent of the night and danceand talk with us. At the end of the night, I tipped her an extra 70 dollars and she told us to request her next time. Same with busser(although half as much as the server).
How busy the server is can really impact the service you get, and the same applies to security. I dropped a 50 on my security at Hyde and he did not give us a lot of attention, unless we asked for it. I did however tip another security guard from a less crowded another section 20 dollars and he sent girls all night.

Maybe chalk it up to bad luck? I have done bottle service and have had many experiences. Most of the time it has been good. Even with it being packed in my area at worse one night I just had to have security page her and I didn't mind for the fact that a.) I could see what she was covering and it was super packed and b.) she even apologized for not being back sooner. I tipped her and the bartender generously at the end of the night especially since they gave us 2 rounds of shots on the house.

As a habit for I do like a lot of other members and tip some upfront and more throughout the night. If you find people you like it doesn't hurt to ask for them worse case, they are not working your section.
                Clubs I have visited:
                Blush(Closed)
                Tryst
                Vanity
                LAX
                Lavo
                Pure
                XS
More to come in the future(Hopefully!)

I found it to be the exception and not the rule. It might depend on your group too, but I have not had one worth complaining about yet.

Last couple times I've had a table, the server has been great. At Surrender last week, I think my waitress poured at least half our drinks. Also, once she and I realized we had a mutual acquaintance she became really chatty and hung out with us more. She also brought us some drinks from the bar when our bottle ran out, and didn't charge for any of them.

I think the key is to just be engaging from the moment you're introduced. When they're pouring the first round, make conversation and make her want to come back.
